La Ventanita Café — Restaurant in Urubamba

I didn't enjoy the place much unfortunately. The frappes were not sweetened very well, although mixing in the cream helped a bit. I've definitely had much better coffee in Peru. The breakfast was a very small bread of not very good quality. I was still hungry after I ate it. In fact, I had room for a second breakfast at the next Cafe I found down the street ( Cafe Su Laurent) and it was much, much better! I also had trouble to pay, because they did not want to take my card or have change for $100 Soles. Probably, I won't come back to this one. But the lady serving was very nice, so I wish...

This is a little cafe place that offers a good coffe, homemade cakes, delicious, and other small and bigger snacks, all prepared with excellent ingrediences by the owners themselves. But above all its the friendly and welcoming atmoshere created through the owner, Marie, that makes this cafeteria so special, and that makes you sometimes feel like being at home, among friends and family. Omgoodness fresh orange juice delicious. The French toast was perfection. I also ordered the huevos vendura with sautéed veggies and it was also delicious.

The space is small and cozy. The service is excellent. The only thing is there’s no wifi. But you can come eat, relax, read and enjoy the moment.

Oh and the prices are just right.
