Read moreWe rang the bell and could not have had a lovelier greeting. We watched a video of Pablo Seminario explaining his inspiration to work in clay and preserve all the ancient cultural symbols symbols. Then she offered us a private tour of the house where we watched the team doing each step of the artistic process and then we went into the gift shop. During our town we were offered a place to leave our backpacks and waking sticks behind the counter. The visit was quite wonderful and we did not purchase anything because we felt we would not be able to transport things safely home. (They do have a door to door shipping however. There were several items that were very tempting however; the sinks are very beautiful and used in the new bathroom facilities and some of the wall plaques especially those with the flying angels! Read moreWe visited on a Sunday evening and the folks there were kind enough to still give us a tour around the facilities even though it was mostly shut up and quiet. We felt very fortunate to have a few minutes with Pablo (the founder) as he was working on a piece in his studio. It was amazing to just listen to him talk about his process and work.
