We dined at Toho SM Southmall last Sat. My son wanted the dish displayed at the counter, the one at the end. I asked if it was chicken, and the staff said yes, soy chicken. I said okay, thanks.
When it was time to order, another staff took our order, and I clarified again which dish my son wanted. But when the food was served by yet another staff member, I noticed it didn’t look the same, it wasn’t as dark in color as the one on display. I asked why, and he said it was because it had been marinated. His explanation was a bit unclear, but I accepted it.
Still, I asked another staff about it, and this time they told me that what was served was actually different from what was on display. I said, ilang beses ko na inulit-ulit and yet in the end, it was still wrong.

The service at this place is the worst. We will not eat at this branch again. This used to be our go-to family restaurant, but now it’s a mess, thanks to the terrible service this...

You know that their canton noodles were not fresh because a lot of the strands stuck together. The sauce was bland. The lechon was dry and bland. The chicken was juicy but had very little flavor.
The worst part of my experience: a small cockroach ran across my table while I was eating. I informed one of the more senior-looking staff about it. She said nothing. I had to call her back before she told me that she will inform their cleaners. I doubt if she did considering her...
