As a passionate food enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for remarkable dining experiences. I had the pleasure of dining at Yabu in SM Southmall, and I must say that my expectations were not only met but exceeded! From start to finish, my time at Yabu was an absolute delight.

I had my lunch here at Yabu and usually whenever I eat outside or do something outside that relates to customer service, I always gave tips after because I know the feeling of receiving one and I also work in customer service. It was 12PM and expected there’s a lot of customers having their lunch, I was done eating and I asked for the bill and to also pack my left over food for take away, I know that Yabu is not like the other fast food restaurants, but to my surprise, when the staff gave me my receipt, he also gave me a take away box and a paper bag, I was surprise but I didn’t show or even asked that I’m surprised that I will be packing my own food. I ate here before and I remember na sila yung nag pack ng food ko date.

While packing my food, there are customers who just went inside straight, then one of the staff said “Ma’m there’s a waiting po outside” then the customer said “but there’s no one outside to accommodate us so, we don’t know” then after the customer went outside the staff said “hay….” with a sound of frustration or tiredness, I know it’s not easy to work in a customer service but one thing I know, is to never let the customer and the other customer hear your frustration.

So I've been to Yabu at SM Southmall, basically a lot of times.

My Husband and I have tried practically everything in their menu. That my favorites are the Katsu Sets.

The servers always guides us to our tables and gets back to us when were ready to order.

Prices range from 100-500 pesos

Food is served 15-30 minutes always but my first concern was that they served our food 50 minutes late so they refunded us for the food except the drinks. The manager was kind enough to apologize for the trouble. It never happened again.

The food is great, the place is great. But what I like about this place the most is the waiters and waitresses. Active, helpful and gives a genuine smile.
