I wanted to give a high rating because the servers were awesome. The interior design was also warm and welcoming. However since it is a food establishment, food quality is of utmost importance. We ordered, ginataang pagi, puso salad, tortang talong, sinigang na hipon and grilled pork liempo.

The good part...is the liempo. The rest not so much. Ginataang pagi is on the sweeter side and over cooked given the hard stringy texture. Puso ng saging salad is also quite sweet. The tortang talong is made with fried talong and not grilled so the eggplant was soggy. The worst part was the sinigang. The shrimps were going bad. Not yet entirely spoiled but they were not fresh at all. My friends wanted to order other grilled fish like tuna or blue marlin. But I stopped them because just by looking at the color of the fish, I know they are not fresh. Storage was not good given that it was only past 12 noon. And regardless of the time, the food should always be fresh.

Hopefully they can find this review and make...

I didn't have a say on the choice of food served to us in the fully air-conditioned 100-room function hall in Aboy's while attending a product presentation but just the same the food as I expect is delicious because it's Aboy's. It has been uncounted years since I last dined here in the Golden Fields branch and I have seen the marked improvement of the restaurant, particularly about its architecture, but one thing really doesn't change in Aboy's - the good Negrense taste. The chicken inasal served without the bamboo stick is less greasy and with the "honest" chicken taste I love so much. It has less enhancement in ingredients save for the salt and the optional and common "sawsawan" (sauce). The mushroom cooked in banana leaf is also superlative as well as the "chopsuey" (mixed...

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant in Bacolod City! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and their superb customer service made the experience even more enjoyable. The waiters were attentive, friendly, and quick to assist with any request.

The service was impressively fast—our food arrived promptly, yet everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Speaking of the food, it was absolutely delicious! Every dish was flavorful and well-cooked, making it a truly satisfying meal.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back here the next time I visit...

Great food and service! Authentic local food, would definitely eat here when I visit Bacolod again. It's a large restaurant with private rooms and very large dining areas. The waiters were very attentive, and the food was very good! From what I could remember we ordered the following. Note I'm not sure what the exact names were. - Banana leaf wrapped Mushroom, very good! Extremely fresh and clean tasting. Would go back just for this. - Grilled Marlin and Sizzling Scallops, both cooked very well. Soft and flavorful - Chicken bbq, standard taste (in a good way) - Sago't Gulaman drink, lots of people liked this as a dessert

Such a lovely restaurant especially for those who care about natural ingredients on their food. Their herbal garden gives a reassuring vibe that greens and salads are fresh. They have to perfect though their cooking of seafood especially blue marlin to keep its good quality when served (it stayed a bit longer on the flame). Inasal and binakol are good. Buttered scalops are great. The servers are polite and nice. The ambiance is okay, not the best in the City but worth trying if you want to enjoy cozy meal time. Will definitely be back to try other meals.
