This restaurant is way past its glory days and ought to shut down for good. We went there for dinner recently, only to find their once famous chicken inasal so disappointing. The taste (bland) and texture was no good (dry and doesn't seem fresh). We tried their other dishes as well but they were not any better either. The restaurant is simply disgusting. The handwash area reeks of urine smell coming off the washrooms. Cutleries, dinner plates and drinking glasses were not properly washed. As we were dining then, we observed a few stray cats lurking in the dark corners of the restaurant, waiting to feast on the left overs on the table the moment the guests walk away. I wonder how this place passed public health inspections or if food safety inspections are even in place in Bacolod at all. Unfortunately, nothing better can be said of the staff service. They just assumed guests know how their restaurant operates. Our group was not advised by the server to place our orders at the counter. We waited a long time but the server never came to take our orders. Had we not took up the courage to come up to the counter and ask, we would have wasted more time waiting for a service that would never come. So sad to see a former well respected restaurant decline to its sorry state. We will, definitely, not be going back to this restaurant again and will strongly dissuade family and friends from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreChicken Deli Lacson Branch was just across Hotel Seda where I checked in when I visited Bacolod. Their Chicken Inasal was actually pretty good, taste authentic, legit Inasal. Their chicken oil was better vs. Mang Inasal. They also offer unli Rice but it does not come with free soup, too bad for it's price. š
The resto was big and can accomodate a lot of people. Ample parking space. One con, place needs renovation, their wash area only have 1 faucet working, and there were water leaks in their floor. šµ
Overall, serving time was fast and staff was very welcoming. Recommended still for the food. Will eat here again if I come to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy last lunch here in Bacolod and I am trying to avoid the inasal already as I am already starting to smell like a chicken (even if I was tempted to eat again at Aidaās!).
The last dish on my checklist is kadyos (I think they also call it KBL here). I dropped by this place hoping they served it and luckily itās in the menu. I also have to try the inihaw na liempo. Nit a nice combination as both were pork.
The kadyos was good. Itās like cansi with jackfruit so the soup base was a combination of sour and sweet.
This place may be pricey especially if you compare the rates...
