This is where we have a superBusog lunch, you can choose from variety fish and other seafoods and you can pick the particular part of the fish you wanted to be cooked... may it be a tinola, grilled or fried. They also have some pork on the menu like grilled spare ribs and BBQ. The settings has an open air space, I really appreciate the placement of the table and chairs where you have a sense of privacy enough for every one to move right there and then without worrying to bother the neighboring customers. They have also an airconditioned room for other functions if you wanted too. The staff are very accomodating, always alert for your needs. You don't have to drive far away from the city to eat your fave seafoods, because Gina's is just in downtown area to have great taste and great time. Dont worry they also have affordable prices. Jan. 20, 2024, late afternoon craving for seafoods. since we were early to come in... they served our orders so fast, you notice the spacious area of gina's from parking area to their dining area. A lot of seafoods display in the counter, clean tables and floors and theres on going construction at back. I think its gonna be an additional function rooms. Read moreI’ve always been excited to eat here because their food tastes great, definitely one of the reasons I kept coming back. The seafood is fresh, and although the prices are a bit expensive, they’re still reasonable considering the quality.
However, the service and ambiance were quite disappointing during my recent visit. The serving time was slow, and the place wasn’t very pleasant because there were a lot of flies around.
The worst part of the experience, though, was the attitude of one of the food servers. At first, he seemed friendly and attentive, even trying to make small talk with us (I was dining with foreigners). But after we finished eating and stood up to look at the seafood display, I overheard him murmuring to his colleagues, saying “pigado ba” (meaning “so poor”) just because we hadn’t given him a tip yet.
I was actually planning to give him one, but hearing that comment completely changed my mood. I still gave ₱100 before we left, but it left a bad impression.
Servers should remember that not all foreigners have the same tipping culture as Americans. Good service should come from genuine hospitality, not from expecting extra payment.
It took me months to decide whether to write a review about...

My oh my, I just had my best grilled blue marlin in my entire life so far! Their seafood and fish were soooo fresh the meat of the blue marlin was cooked to perfection with ample amount of juices oozing out. Also, they seasoned it very, very well.
Well, aside from the grilled blue marlin, we also had seaweed salad with the perfect blend of saltiness from the sea, and sourness and sweetness from the vinegar dressing. Their calamares, TEXTBOOK yummy! The grilled scallops, just okay but a lot better than other seafood restos we've tried in Bacolod. (Uhm, hello, Diotay's!) They also have a wide array of seafood (how come Diotay's didn't have Talaba or oysters last night?), with Wasay Wasay Oysters too!
If you had one seafood resto to choose during your stay in Bacolod, make sure it's Gina's Restaurant. Promise, you will have bang for your buck (yummy food worth your time and money).
By the way, servers are really attentive, and their ambience is nice. They have a dedicated washing area, clean toilets, and clean-looking plates too. Don't forget to ask for some soup for FREE, and opt for calamansi juice than...
