I am disappointed and frustrated with the poor service I received at this branch of McDonald's Upper Bacolod. I have been a loyal customer of McDonald's for many years Internationally and even more here in the Philippines but my recent experience has left me extremely dissatisfied.
Firstly, the wait time for my order was unacceptable. Despite there being only a few customers ahead of me, it took an excessive amount of time for my order to be prepared. Managers are just roaming around instead of foreseeing issues inside and outside the restaurant. When I finally received my food, no staff assisted me in bringing my orders to my table as I ordered for 6 people, it was cold and clearly not freshly made, and the cheese on my Big Mac was not melted, The fries had already lapsed on their holding time it was soggy. This led me to believe that my order was left sitting for an extended period of time before being called to pick up my order at the counter.
Furthermore, the staff at the counter were unpleasant and not welcoming to the guests. They seemed to be more interested in chatting with each other rather than attending to the customers. This lack of attention and care for the customers' needs is unacceptable.
In addition, the cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar, the air conditioning was not working properly, the tables were dirty and there were food crumbs and trash scattered on the floor. It was clear that the staff had not been properly maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area since only one outside in the the dining area was assigned to maintain the area clean and tidy, what did the managers and supervisors do? When this branch does not have enough staff they are just chatting and roaming around. Kulang Sa training ang management nyu d2!

Read moreMy first time to this fairly new McDonald's location at the Upper Eastside of Megaworld, next to Lópues East Annex (bowling alley). The outside, immaculate and stylish esthetics. Definitely catering to a more "affluent" community. (Sorry forgot to take outside pics) Into the main entrance you find 3 self order kiosks, followed by several dining bars then the cashier station. This location consists of 2 floors. First floor holding the main restaurant, a separate McCafe room and several dining sets. The second floor for more dining area and a party room. Aside from a PWD rest room on the first floor, you'd have to go up to the second floor for regular rest rooms. The second floor was not accessible for dining, except for the party room where they were hosting a young girl's birthday. It looked like they were repairing the air conditioning vents. I gave only 3 stars for service because it took 25 mins to serve my order of a 2 piece burger steak and rice bowl, 2 Sausage McMuffins with egg , 2 hashbrowns and 2 lg ice coffees. There was only 1 order in front of us. As we waited, not only was the earlier order served, but 6 orders after us were served before ours. My guess is that they switched their food lines to lunch before completing the last breakfast order (ours). Also, they issued table #s and said they would deliver, however I noticed they just called out the #s and had customers pick up. McCafe at the time was not busy at all, 2 . . . 3 customers at most when I i was there. The main restaurant was moderately busy. I'm sure though that it becomes a hotspot at night. Read moreI ordered 2 iced coffee, 1 blueberry cheesecake,1 oreo cheesecake and an Ice tea. After the transaction was made order 169 was charged to my account, thats the only time that I was advised that the ice tea is not available. The crew does not know what to do, As a customer, Im the one who suggested either to process the amount of the item or void the entire order and reorder but the charge was already made to my account. The crew let me wait to be approached by the manager and process the void in which the amount was refunded. When reordered, the cashier informed me that the oreo cheesecake is not available either in which they were not informed and I need to make a line again just to reorder the same orders. How inconvenient the situation to me and my companion to have this problems on a "FLAGSHIP" store outside of Metro Manila. The time that I spent in waiting and due this situation is very disappointing. There is a long line just to get inside and a line again to pay your orders. There are only 2 cashiers in place considering the number of customers that are on the store. You can hear the crew on they radio handsets screaming their frustrations or complains regarding work related issues. Sad to say there is no coordination between the main store and mccafe even they are on the same building and you can see the chaotic situation even just your making a line and waiting for your turn.
