Food is subpar, like very disappointing. Pizza dough is thick. Chewy, & undercooked, sad. The Toppings are kept to a minimal, tasted average. You get better pizza elsewhere for half the price. Pasta, is not anywhere near Italian as they advertised their restaurant. Sadly, it reminded me of a fastfood chain spaghetti. The biggest upset here is their menu prices. It is really really EXPENSIVEEEE. It doesn't justify the taste of the food. I would understand if the food was excellent but apparently, it wasn't. Not anywhere close. You'll get better experience elsewhere with the same type of "high-end" restaurants with much cheaper prices and way better food. I asked for Tabasco for my pizza, instead they only have "homemade" hot sauce which is like chili oil. Very disappointing that a resto that's very expensive doesn't have Tabasco. Overall, I gave 1 star because the place is nice, instagramable as they call it but that's just about it. Maybe if you want to waste money for some good instagram photos, then this might be the place for you, other than that, don't bother wasting your time or money here. It's sad how a restaurant focused more on their interior rather than their food. Hopefully a wake up call for them to look into the food they're serving. ZERO STARS for their food. Go to a famous and established Italian restaurant here in Bacolod that you'll get 10 times better food for a much cheaper price. The photo you see here is from a friend who ordered it for take out. I don't think I will need to explain the picture. This pizza was wayyy WORSE than the time I dined in. We ate there during their opening. This photo taken was just this January. Sadly, it seems like it's getting worst! Just to rub it in, the pizza is...
Read moreWe were there during their opening and to see if the hype is worth it. We tried their pizza and pasta (very few choices of main course) which is understandble because it was just their soft opening. Disappointed because as a high end restaurant they should have the basic condiments such as hotsauce, doesn’t really need to be a good brand but atleast not something made up and not a kick of chili at all. (See pic encircled) , The ambiance is good, Kudos to the waiter, however we asked to take out their house wine which is a sparkling wine that taste like grape juice with alcohol so we only had 1 glass and decided to take the rest home, the waiter wrapped it in a cling wrap yes a plastic wrapper because they couldn’t figure out how to close it. long story short the wine spilled in the car and we ended up throwing it instead. Price - you could eat somewhere way better paying exact amount. Food - Definitely no, not even close to italian authentic cuisine. But this is just my taste buds 😊 still would go for Italia and Azucarera and Gorda for...
Read moreWent for after dinner snacks and drinks. They had a live band that was playing when we arrived. The place was quite small, so the live music was too loud. It immediately changed the atmosphere from a “fine dining restaurant” (I’m not sure if this was the aim of the place) to a restobar or beer garden. Just the dim the lights and it would feel like the latter. Thankfully they did not play through out the night.
The food was okay for its price. The menu had the ingredients listed for each dish, which was okay but if you’re going to put “cooking cream” on the list, it makes it seem like the ingredients are artificial. We got the truffle pasta which tasted good.
They had an extensive wine list, which I guess is a first for Bacolod. The wines were reasonably priced. And the waiters are trained on how to serve them.
Overall it was an okay experience. I guess they should commit to their image, and maybe remove the live band 😅
I would still go back to this place though, but expect me to run away if I see a live band...
