Now this is that which is funny.
All crew members of this branch do not have name tags. Ask for their names, they find it offensive.
The Jollibee branch just across Victory Liner in Engineer’s Hills, Baguio City. A stones throw away from University of the Philippines Baguio. Just some 737 steps from my residence. A place where numerous tourists drop by and visit.
Crew asks for orders. Customer responds. Crew itemizes the order by asking the customer the antithesis way. Customer reiterates. Crew once again asks candidly. Customer responds. Crew gives customer wrong orders intentionally.
Fine. I am Igorot. And I never found an institution ever discriminating as this branch. And I live only in the vicinity.
Production says all parts are available. Customer requests for breast part. Crew insists only wing and rib. Customer agrees with wing part. Crew gives thigh.
Customer asks for the manager due to how the cashier/crew is behaving. Crew pretends deaf. Customer insisted for the manager. Crew grumbles.
Production again reiterates all parts available.
Manager came. Yana is the name. Customer reiterates orders. Simultaneously, crew leaves the cashier post and prepares orders. Ironic? Power tripping?
Customer stopped responding when asked. Now, crew prepares all orders placed by customer prior the manager’s presence. Again thigh parts... Customer then adheres. Trying to calm himself down.
Customer asked assistance from a male crew due to the one called by the crew is an elderly native woman (which is unlikely for one native to be served by an elderly of his tribe). Crew responds, no other male to assist. Commands the elderly native female crew to bring the orders upstairs.
Customer requested manager Yana to go upstairs with him for concerns to be discussed the civil way. Manager Yana refused. Alibi: I want you to finish your meals first (when asked).
Customer went down to get utensils. (Utensils are but placed some three feet away from the cashier/crew). Manager Dawn congratulated the bully cashier/crew for what she did to the customer. Cashier crew, head is up, proud.
Customer insisted again for manager’s presence to rectify matters. Managers called security guard instead.
Customer showed security guard his service firearm in his waist, another male manager assisted Manager Yana. No more security guard.
Male manager, a half Igorot promised to talk to the crew. Really?! How about the damages? Two sundaes. And these sundaes went to the beggar. Two sundaes for the dignity of a human being — an expression on how Jollibee people treat their clients.
Welcome to Jollibee! Where people are power trippers, merely vying on the institution’s popularity, and using the same institution’s image for maleficence.
Jollibee seems to condone their people on the ground for these malpractices. If Jollibee can not correct this culture, then:
Igorotak! Ukinamsyet! Step into our streets and you will suffer worse...

The staff member who took our order didn’t enter everything we requested. They checked twice, repeatedly going back and forth to compare the food with the receipt, yet items were still missing: two drinks, a burger, and two orders of fries. They also ignored our order notes, adding sauce when we specified none and putting ice in drinks we ordered without ice.
Adding to the frustration, the staff started gossiping right in front of me, accusing me of trying to get free food and adding items to the order. I had been waiting patiently, but this unprofessional behavior was infuriating. They stood around without making any effort to fix the issue.
When I asked to speak to the manager, instead of addressing the problem, they told me to “calm down,” without explaining the mistake or providing a solution. We had to tell them exactly what was missing before they finally prepared the food. No one apologized for the error or the time wasted due to their incompetence.
The lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior made this a truly disappointing experience. Avoid this place if you’re looking for...
Read moreThis place is packed. Always! Probably due to proximity to the Victory Liner bus station. But maybe just 'cuz it's Jollibee. Cash only payments.
I've eaten here multiple times and it makes no difference when you go - their system for ordering and having food ready is incredibly slow. It doesn't seem complicated, but there are always lines and then inevitably a wait for the food. Sometimes they come through the line and jot your order down - but they just hand you a slip with your order on it to give to the cashier - they aren't informing the kitchen or anyone in advance. Curious.
Food is ok. It's not the worst fried chicken on Earth by a long shot, but the original recipe isn't quite as flavorful as KFC. The spicy version has a bit more flavor though hardly packs the punch they advertise. They have rice instead of mashed potatoes but the gravy is very similar. They also have some breakfast options if you're looking for a morning start. This is one of the national foods of the Philippines so you have to try it if you're in the country.
They're open late which makes this an even more competitive option if you've got late-night munchies. Two levels of inside seating. ...
