Eat all you can charcoal grill at php745 per head. Go on a weekday, if you'd like to get a Japanese beer or two as long as it's not a holiday (both local or national). We were there on a Friday, unfortunately and unknowingly there is a local holiday. For the price? I can say it's 70% worth your money. The meat and seafood selection are very limited (zero prawns), although I'm surprised they offer cockles, which are so delectible when grilled. The marinated meat is 1 level better than your usual Samgyupsal buffet. Their few side dishes are also delicious but limited to kimchi, some monggo sprouts and lettuce salad. Too, they are stingy with lettuce servings. The price also included bottomless iced tea. For children below 4ft, they offer kiddie meals worth Php199. For children 4ft tall and above, regular price applies.
What I liked though was, the place wasn't as smokey as I had anticipated. Usually in my past food experience with charcoal grill, the smoke is unbearable for anyone who's asthmatic.
Parking and resto is spacious. Pls note it's not suitable for customers in wheelchair. There is quite a staircase...
Read more3 things i consider whenever I review a restaurant: Staff, cost, commute Staff- they are very attentive. They will offer changing your grill vs the other bbq places we've been to. Fast serving of meat. And they will offer you a choice between warm or cold water! Cost - more expensive than other provincial bbq restos, but then i found out that it has a branch here in Manila. You'll get a lot of choices - beef, pork, chicken, squid, salmon belly, scallops!! Everything's tasty! They have sides, too. It's worth it. 529/599 per head is not bad. Commute - we stayed near this place but we still almost got lost. It's in the military cut off and the resto is not well- lit at night. You have to be attentive because the only thing that can save you is this...
Read moreAfter explaining to the staff that we shall be having a working lunch meeting to discuss a multiple murder case and requested for a more conducive table... They still insisted that we be seated on the table in front of the entry way in plain view and earshot of everyone.
Maybe, I am wrong in bringing my working lunch meeting at this place. Hence, I am no longer going to bring my meetings to this place and I do not recommend bringing working lunches here.
I miss the old staff members when they first opened here. They re more accommodating... or maybe, they are just more accommodating to important people only.
It was a sad experience for me. This is my "go to" restaurant... and then this.
If I can give a negative rating for...
