Rewind Cafe is a breather from all other cafes out there for me. Whereas, the cafes nowadays would have a modern minimalist design or over the top ambient decor; Rewind would have a rustic feel to it.
Rewind café is located at Arellano Street, Gibraltar Road in the city of Pines. And what I love about it is that they renovated an old 1950s house into this very eclectic Café where there’re are hanging swing seats in their outdoor balcony where you can sit and chill With a warm cup of coffee in your palms. We all know that Baguio city does get cold specially in the afternoon when it rains, and so this place is ready to light up it’s fireplace.
Although there are only a few seats indoors near the fireplace, I am sure to just stay there all afternoon reading a book, and drinking a glass of Caramel frappe, which is by the way, one of the best caramel frappe drinks I have ever tasted in my life! It is better than Starbucks'.
They do have an area where you can just sit down in a beanbag chair and just chat away with your best buddy. Otherwise, if you are a huge group and what you are looking for is a work space, they have this ten-seater conference table you can work with. This is good for students studying and who are doing their thesis. And I believe we can also do like a lunch meeting here.
Oh and speaking of lunch they have a wide array of dishes in their menu to choose from. We were there for lunch and what we ordered was a platter of sizzling tofu, Dinakdakan and Creamy beef rice meals and a huge plate of Nachos.
The price is fair for the amount of serving and the taste is really really good. I want to come back and try their other dishes. I am already salivating from thinking about it.
Lastly, they have this little gallery of paintings and wood carvings. The art is amazing and it’s certainly worth a look.

We were just passing through Ferguson road and the pictures of food hanging on the walls of a house caught my eye. I thought the place is just a small cafe but when we went inside, I was surprised because it can accommodate a party for 75 people.
Food Rating: 4.5/5
Details: Food tasted great! we had Pork sisig, Pork salpicao, Chili fries, ube cream cheese milk tea and Wintermelon milk tea. Pork Sisig is just right! not salty, not bland, just right! Pork Salpicao is so tender but tasted a little buttery. less butter might made it taste better. The Chili fries is a rendition of a TexMex chili fries. the taste is great! You can work a little on the fries though, you might wanna change the fries with bigger once instead of the small cut fries. The Milk teas are not bad too! they tasted great!
Price Rating 4.5/5 The price is just right, you might be getting more for your money! Taste and portions of the food matches the price. Not pricey.
Service: 4.5/5 We were greeted when we arrived and the staff are courteous. I am not sure if I was suppose to ask for condiment or I am not sure where they are located. I wanted some soy sauce for my Sisig.
Food Wait Time: 4.5/5 The food were delivered in less than 8 mins!!! I specifically asked that the Chili fries (Appetizer) should be served first before our rice meals but it was served the other way around. I don't have an issue with that but the waitress agreed when I told her about my request.
Ambiance:4.5/5 The inside of the cafe is amazing, there are posters/pictures on the walls and there was even a nipa hut inside!!! a nipa hut!!! The cafe is also clean!
Downside: the only downside is the parking, only 2 parking slots.
Will I eat here again??? YES! the...

“There’s no other place like Baguio. And there’s no other place to reminisce the city’s past than REWIND Café. Get in touch with the heritage and authentic Cordilleran feel. The menu offerings are exceptional, and the company of their friendly staff is something worth dropping five stars too! It’s the ideal place to chill, relax and remember. If you’re from Baguio, you’ll instantly be transported back to the late 40’s all the way to the 90’s. For tourists, it’s one of the must-see places to look up the City’s history, all while enjoying the dishes.
After all, REWIND Café literally takes you back—and rewinds the tape.
It’s a celebration of old Baguio nostalgia and...
