This hotel went over and beyond my expectations. The facade is very elegant, furnitures at the lobby give you a classic Filipino feel, the restaurant gives you a spectacular view and the computer room is readily available should you need to use one. The hotel gives off a cozy feeling--a home away from home. It made me feel that I'm living in a huge house so it's just about right to say that it's like a dream come true.||Room - We were privileged to have stayed in the Penthouse. It is so spacious, beautiful and clean. It has all the essentials you will need either for short or long-stay. It also gives you a spectacular view of the city. It has floor-to-ceiling glass windows that allow sunlight to come in. But these are also equipped with blinds should you prefer a private setup. ||Food - They offer quite a wide variety of menu for breakfast. Every item is a good choice. One of the owner's suggestion was the Vigan longganisa. I didn't regret following it! He also suggested that we try their sisig which is what we ordered for dinner through Room Service. And it, by far, is the best sisig that I have tasted. My mom, who is a health-buff and not a fan of pork, indulged and set aside her diet after tasting it! ||Service - IMPECCABLE! This is the first and only hotel where I witnessed the owner himself serve the guests--gets their orders, serves their food & drinks and then really get to know each of them. I was surprised that when we were about to go out, the Front Desk staff handed us a list of places and restaurants that we could visit which was personally handwritten by the owner. He also was too kind to give us a tour on our second and third days. Being a hotelier for 7 years, i have learned a lot from Mr. FD. ||I will definitely choose to stay in this hotel every time I will visit Baguio. You will never go wrong with, NYC Manhattan...
Read moreBefore I book a hotel, I always make it a point to read reviews and hotel descriptions. In this particular hotel, they did not indicate that the standard room is only a fan room and only the superior room has air conditioning. When we investigated together with their front desk staff, even in their superior room, it wasn't even indicated that it had air conditioning. So all the while, I was thinking that all of their rooms have AC. I slept the whole night without wearing something on top since I am used to having an AC in the room.
Also, it was indicated in the hotel description that they have a game room that has a billiard table, darts, and board games. It was also stated there that they also have a mini theater, which our children would surely enjoy. But to my dismay, they said that they do not have such amenities. All of their information in agoda is misleading and will turn into a disappointment for their guests.
When I took a shower at night, the hot shower was not working properly. I took a shower with ice-cold water. I reported it at the front desk, and he said that he would check it himself. After two hours of waiting, I went back to the front desk and saw the person in charge just watching YouTube on his cellphone. Just poor service from their front desk agents and from the owner itself.
Overall, I didn't have a good experience at this hotel. Good thing I just booked an overnight stay in two rooms. They just ruined the birthday celebration of my wife and our vacation. Definitely, I will not go back to this hotel, and for sure, I will not recommend this hotel...
Read moreI'm so happy I booked this hotel for our first staycation here in Baguio! Grabe since day 01, I kept telling my husband "Buti na lang ito na book ko."
Facilities: Napaka linis, maayos lahat. There's nothing in our room and in the entire hotel's public facilities na out of order. It's not like other hotels na maayos nga pero medyo grungy dahil sa kalumaan. I believe most of their rooms are with balconies pa.
Location: Super lapit lang sa nga iconic spots, attractions and kainan. It's v easy to hail a cab and bc it's near Burnham, mura lang yung taxi fares.
Staff: I love them! Sobrang bait nila lahat. Very polite and accommodating. Not snobby at all. They're actually one of the reasons that made our stay here very relaxing.
Bonus | Hotel Food: mesherep yung free breakfast nila and their dinner menus too!
All in all, I would def recommend this Hotel to others, and we will def book this hotel again in the future.
I just love it, it's not too posh for common folk like us. The staff wouldn't make you feel out of place, and yet it's not too shabby na parang hotel-kuno lang yung nabook mo. Hehe.
Hope this review helps, and encourages people to give them...
