The Hotel Urban, aka Oyo 767, in Baguio was a disappointment for the money. The hotel is multi-floor establishment with no elevators or staff to help with bags. The stairs were brutal for my wife and me. ||I’ll just list the deficiencies of the place instead of trying to describe them in detail. You’ll get the idea.||1. Television had one bad reception channel, Nickelodeon, and no remote control.||2. There was WIFI but no Internet access.||3. The bedding appeared and smelled unwashed. I used a tee shirt for pillow slip and personal towel for blanket. I suggest fabric softener.||4. Tiny closet space for three bed room.||5. One roll of toilet paper per room.||6. Zero amenities except dental kit and bar of soap. ||7. One community water dispenser for whole floor which was empty most of the time.||8. Noisy hallways||9. No ice||10. No vending machines||11. Indifferent hotel front desk personnel||12. Difficult billing process thru Oyo. Avoid! ||13. Zero customer service.||14. The bathroom was adequate and AC was cold, but limited towels and no washcloths. ||15. One old fashion key per room. ||||The hotel is supposedly South Korean owned, which is surprising considering its poor management. ||Thank goodness we only booked for one night and were able to relocate to a much better establishment the following day. My advice is to look for...

NO EARLY CHECK IN - check in has to be 10 mins til 2pm otherwise they will charge you with 150 pesos. I don't get the logic on this when there was no other guest on the room given to us. ||2. Breakfast - only inclusive on the package is an 85 peso meal (no drinks) on the resto inside the hotel. Decent meals, will not WOW you.||3. Staff - some are friendly, but the hotel is terribly understaffed, you have to be patient for the attendant to cater your needs.||4. Rooms - what you see is what you get, no hair dryer, toiletries are generic, no conplimentary coffee, no electric kettle to heat up water for drinking, cable is not good (all the movie channels are blocked), no airconditioning (considering it's baguio but I have to let you all know), ONLY one pillow per guest, ONLY one towel per guest. ||5. WIFI - free but very very very slow connection, after one try I didnt even bother using it again. Globe is quite fast compared to smart.||Overall 2/5, budget friendly but with a lot of sacrifice. If you're willing to sacrifice most of the amenities you want then this hotel might be a good...
Read moreLet me list down what me and my husband experienced by staying from this hotel.||* We requested for the top floor, which means that since theirs is practically in the basement, they should've put us on the floor as we desired.|3rd basement, really? |* The ventilation window was supposed to be an exhaust fan - part of my recommendation. The window served as an entry point for bugs like mosquitoes and cockroaches, which we apparently have experienced. One cockroach we saw crawling on our bed. No wonder the sheets were itchy. Mosquitoes were all over the place. |* No cabinet. No decent chair. No Aircon.|* Telephone never worked. Dial - 0 or any number to call outside - NEVER worked.|* WiFi sucks bigtime. It barely worked. |* The cable service barely worked. Since we cannot use the internet, we were expecting that at least TV works and only more than 10 stations were available. |* Last, transport to nearest terminal is hard especially when traffic congestion is happening. If you prefer a closer one to the bus terminal, do not consider this place. There are inns near the transport for a...
