On The Way Monumento Branch — Restaurant in Caloocan

We saw this place via Facebook via a food blogger and got our attention.

We waited till the weekend (April 16, Sunday dinner) and off we went.

The fam was excited to say the least. We were looking for a good dinner while trying out a new food destination.

It was an EPIC FAIL EXPERIENCE for us and will never go back to this place again.

First off, the location was along the side street where jeepneys and tricycles hog the narrow street hence parking is impossible. Good thing that SM was just beside the road and that's where we parked and walked out way to the place.

When we got there around 630pm, there was a 2hour wait time for your order. They do not have a dining area where people can sit and wait.

You will wait by the street if you will brave the hours of waiting.

Most of their chicken choices have been sold out when we arrived. So with the wait time and most of their menu out of stock we decided to just leave feeling very disappointed and quite frustrated.

We had our dinner at SM, then decided to go back and just try even one of their showcased drinks, andito na naman kami why not i-try kahit one of their drink since wala kami na try sa food nila.

For just 1 avocado drink, from falling in line to order until we got our drink took almost one hour standing in the street with all the pollution, smoke from the passing cars, jeeps, tricycles. And to add insult to injury, the avocado drink we ordered was nothing special.

Almost 1/4 ng cup puro grayham.

It was refreshing at first but we did not enjoy the drink overall.

This is just our experience and we know that some might have had a better food and drink experience than we did. Lucky you.

At least you guys were able to try the food and drinks and enjoyed them... Good for you all.

But for us, we will definitely stay away from this establishment from hereon.

Sorry 'On The Way'... I hope you can find ways to better your service and offering with what we have shared.

I've seeing this store on FB reels and been curious to try their product.

The chicken was awesome, if not the best, it is one of the best I have tried. Sulit ung punta sa Monumento to try it. The staffs are well trained to accommodate customer and were really friendly.

We have visited them twice already. The first one there ain't that much of a line in ordering, however on our second visit there's a lot of people so there's a little waiting time but the waiting time provided by cashier was accurate.

Definitely will keep going here for...
