I ordered a salmon bagel and an omelette with no tomato. The omelette arrived with tomato and had to be sent back. Worse, the salmon on the bagel was clearly off — I was hit by a foul, rotten smell mid-bite. I would have let this go without a review, but what really pushed me to write this is the staff’s reaction: instead of acknowledging the issue, they tried to gaslight me by saying “that’s the normal smell of salmon,” as if I’ve never had it before.

I’m a regular customer in Ayala and never had issues — the food is always fresh there. But this experience was unacceptable and...

I ordered pasta, French fries, and a fresh lemonade. • Pasta & French fries: The seasoning was a bit too salty, so I couldn’t finish everything. I think it would have been excellent if the saltiness was adjusted just a little. • Fresh lemonade: There was a slightly unfamiliar taste in the drink, and I realized later that it was the flavor that comes from old lemon juice. Unfortunately, I had already finished the drink by the time I noticed it.

I know that Abaca’s atmosphere, service, and plating are always wonderful and well-recognized, but this particular visit left me a little...

Very poor service.

I placed a large order and the coffee that was served had expired milk when I asked if they could change the coffee due to the milk they didn't seem to want to do that after waiting for 20 just for a coffee for the first time.

The lemon drink didn't have any flavor so went back to ask them if they could make it a little bit sweet and they didn't seem to want to assist at all.

In all the place needs people who want to assist people and give a nice feeling of wanting to even order from there.
