Bintana Coffee House — Restaurant in Cebu City

This place is a total hidden gem! I can't speak for the other food but the pork sinigang is out of this world. One of the best sinigang I've ever had ( only second to my mom's ). I'm definitely going to come back here to try other items . So good! It really hit the spot . The decor is cute with some art that I think is on sale . It's comfy, cozy and the aircon is strong.

Decided to knock off some stars because I had the roasted beef which was also highly recommended. I got it with the mash potatoes and I was not impressed by it at all. The roast beef wasn't fresh and the gravy was really just mostly thickened with flour. The flavor was alright, but I wouldn't recommend it or order it again. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was the size of the portion. The mashed potatoes was a mound of pobably 1.5 tablespoons at most. And they also forgot the bread. Which was just sliced white bread with some melted butter. I'd have to think twice about recommending his place to friends to have anything other than the sinigang. Food was okay but pricey. Chicken wings (4pcs) with fries costs 280. The service is really good. Inside the photobooth was really hot. My partner and I sweat a lot while taking our photos inside.

We asked for handgloves because we saw the other table given hand gloves. but they only gave us plastic for food. Im not sure if they ran out or if they really had none but not a big deal to us.. We were eating chicken wings.

It was all fine until we had to get out. A car was parked right in front of the gate keeping us from getting out until a staff helped us. There were cockroaches everywhere in their kitchen. Every corner of the restaurant, you would see cockroaches. Some of which flew right at us. We even had one come with us to home because we didn't notice it had already landed on my motorbike before we left.

The only memory we had of this restaurant were the actively flying cockroaches. Cockroaches everywhere, like they never had pest control. Food safety, unfortunately, is not...

went there with my friends, so there were 7 of us. nobody from the staff acknowledged us or asked if we were dining in so I took the initiative to go to the front desk to ask a question if they were in a reservation basis since they did not ask us the usual question when you go to a cafe or resto “table for __ maam/sir?” I asked a question to the staff and stood there for a response but I got nothing. Instead, they argued and murmured things. They did not even look at us. To cut the story short, they were so rude to not even entertain us for whatever reason. We took an effort to go there but got nothing. So we left the restaurant displeased!
