I'll start with the pros first. ✌️✨️
Their Spanish latte (less sweet as requested) was really good and relatively affordable. 🖤🤎✨️ Their choco banana waffle was also really appetizing. 😋 I personally prefer golden brown waffles with a bit of crisp, but their waffle tasted better than expected (it surprisingly had a crisp 💛). ✨️ Also loved how the female barista was all smiles as she handed over the orders, making the customers feel welcomed and appreciated. 💖 I also appreciate how the male cashier was knowledgeable and accommodating. ✨️
Now, for the cons 🥲
I was honestly bothered by how the other female employee(?) behaved [she was wearing civilian clothing, so perhaps she's on the management level]. There was neither an acknowledgment nor a smile from her, at least from my end. I also saw her getting the menu off the table of the other customers without saying a word. She seemed to be busy and a bit stressed, but that should still be not an excuse to be rude (unintentional or intentional). This may seem trivial to some, but establishing a good connection with your customers is always of vital importance.
Anyway, as for the tiramisu, they seem to be using packaged ladyfingers. This is not necessarily bad, but some people just prefer the typical soft, melt-in-your-mouth tiramisus over the crunchy ones. I also couldn't taste the coffee/espresso, which significantly made their tiramisu disappointing. On the other hand, the redeeming factor of this item would be the inclusion of the mascarpone cheese. 💛 Additionally, they forgot to include the chocolate cake slice despite having confirmed the order twice. But since the item wasn't even punched, I decided to just let it be. 🥲
To sum up, I still really enjoyed their coffee and food despite the cons. ✨️ The place also has a good ambiance, not too bright nor too dim. 💖 As for the space, it might get a bit cramped during peak hours. 🥲 Overall, I would still opt to revisit the café sooner or later. Hopefully, the experience will be...
Read moreDecent and a quiet place to chill or have a study. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte that was definitely too sweet, it was more of a very sweet milkshake than a latte, couldn't even taste the coffee. We asked about it in the counter and they told us it was the right amount of sugar (30 grams!!!). For sweet-toothed kids, perhaps... Edit your measurements, I mean you named the cafe after a place that's known for coffee, maybe make it count. Definitely not for diabetic people or those health-conscious.
The tiramisu also arrived 20 minutes after order. It did not have any trace of coffee 😭 just sugar. Just call it a...
Read moreI decided to try their matcha and croffle, especially since croffles are rare to find in Cebu. The matcha was just average, but the choco banana croffle was a treat. The only downside was the whipping cream was a bit runny for my liking, but it didn’t ruin the experience.
The café has a great ambiance, ideal for working or studying, with plenty of outlets for charging. Prices are reasonable too.
While I enjoyed my visit, I wish they offered a plain croffle option as well. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I look forward...
