Blackbeard's Seafood Island — Restaurant in Cebu City

We order barbecue blades, and squid for 2 person. The pork stewer and pork chop was so hard that we were unable to chew it. Requested to get the meat re-cooked and it turn out the same.

We were disappointed in the end we did not even eat the pork which was the main dish.

We talk to the staff about their cooking and they blame it on frozen meat which mean the food was not fresh.

The food here is great! We keep coming back! Out top three favorites are Rice Kallag, Marites Shrimp, and Binagoongang Baboy. After we got home from the restaurant, we all had really bad stomachs and it’s still going on. My two brothers keep having watery poop and their stomachs won’t stop making noises. One of them even missed work because of it. Also, the food was tasteless, super plain, and definitely not worth the price. I wouldn’t be giving a poor review if we didn’t experience bad stomachs.
