Cubana — Restaurant in Cebu City

I found the food to be quite basic and salty. The food itself was quite disappointing for the price you pay. The customer service is also quite lacking.

In addition, I ordered a shisha because I just wanted to relax and chill. When my coals burnt down, I asked my server for new coals because their attentiveness to their customers is quite low. He brought them but as I was checking out, I noticed I was charged for coals on top of my shisha. So I naturally asked my server why I was being charged for something that is supposed to come with this service. He tells me they charge for additional coals. I said okay but where on your menu does it say that? (No where actually) And next question, why didn't you inform me before you brought them?

He goes to talk to another server and at this point I just decided to leave. I counted out the money for the things I should've paid for and went to hand it to him. Immediately, the lady server starts raising her voice telling me I have to pay for the coals blah blah blah. So I asked her the same questions. She didn't answer them but she told me she didn't care and how their coals are special. (They aren't. They actually burn a bit quickly and ash a lot which means they are definitely lower quality.) She continues to raise her voice at me and tells me she doesn't care again and that's the way it is. Then, when I said that's a very dishonest business practice and very unprofessional for her to be raising her voice at me when I was very calm and trying to express my point of view. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cubana, an outdoor restrobar located in Uptown Cebu City. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a lively atmosphere and the soothing sounds of live music, which added to the overall ambiance of the place.

We started our meal with the all-pork pizza, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the generous toppings of savory pork created a burst of flavors with each bite. It was truly a delightful start to our dining experience.

If you are in Cebu, you must have this place in your list. Tuesdays and Thursday we had live band performing amazing songs. Wow what a live wire experience.

I would recommend to go little early as this place is almost full if you reach post 10.00 pm. And you won't get your desired place to sit.

Food: pizzas are a must to try. I was with my vegetarian friends so could not try non veg here. But their pizzas are mouth watering. And freshly made woof fired pizzas can't miss out guys.

Ambience: half inside and half place is on street tables. But if you are smoker, sit on the street tables as they don't allow smoking inside at all. Pretty happening place and you would love it with your pals or girlfriend. Couple can have beautiful dinner on candle light almost everyday. It's pretty raw feeling so don't go there with loads of expectations of premium feeling.

Pricing: ₹₹ very cheap and pocket friendly place. And I feel that the main reason that people come here often. Superb menu and very easy on pocket

Service:. Eeh quick and service with a smile. Though the language problem will persist everywhere in Phillipines' so that factor can be neglected.
