At first we liked the place, the staff is friendly, it was quiet and no noise from the street, room seem clean and spacious, until we showered and ready for bed there was a rat that zoomed through our suitcase.

It run around and up the curtains we then went to the front desk for help, they send someone that came in empty handed asking where the problem is so we searched the room as the mouse ran around the room before the staff could arrive.

We located it again on top of the curtains the staff saw it and left the room and came back with a stick poking the curtains as if that's going to catch the rat and solve the problem.

As the rat have moved to a different location when the staff went out to get the stick we were again searching for the rat. After a bit of poking the curtains with the the stick the staff simply left and said call us again if you see it again......??!!!?!!

We weren't offered a solution! JUST CALL US IF YOU SEE IT AGAIN?!

We had to go to the front desk again to demand to change the room. We were then switched to a much smaller room with weaker Wi-Fi signal. They insisted it was the same room type. But room is definitely much smaller and the bed felt smaller as well. We booked a queen suite and the room we were switch to feel like a double instead of a queen.

I don't often leave negative reviews, but after this ordeal, We really felt Primeway Suite could have dealt with the situation much better.

As of now we are still shocked and worry about something crawling on us after we felt asleep. 01:00 am still staring at the curtains of the new room unable to sleep.

The next morning someone knocked at the door while we were still sleeping. We immediately answered "Wait a moment" but the person immediately proceeded to open the door with a key card it was fortunately that we used the door blocker because me and my wife are not dressed. We yelled again "wait! do not enter!" while we are rushing to get dressed. The person proceed to try to barge in with the key card even though we yelled for them not to enter. And they clearly saw the door blocker was in place. This happened 3 times! It turned out to be the housing keeping staff, but why would they continue to try to get in to our room. After we have clearly stated do not enter! and had the door blocker in place? We had a 2 night reservation this happened on the morning after the first night around 10:00-10:30. After the ordeal with the rat the night before so we were exhausted and slept late.

After being rudely awaken by the staff trying to barge in I went to the front desk to raise the issue and was told the manager will not be in until 11:00,

After spoken to the manager later that day She while being friendly said that she could not refund the first night due to the reason of us booking through Agoda, if we were to booking directly though them it would have been what they would have offered. They ended up upgrading our room for the second night and provided a 500 peso Starbuck gift card.

Though I appreciate the gesture, and the front desk staff's friendliness It didn't feel adequate for the ordeal we were...

I stayed at this hotel with my family and friends. ||Room was spacious and everything was working well. ||Staffs were super helpful and accommodating.||I feel it’s a good budget stay. Amenities are ok. Basic things like toothbrush, shower cap and soap and shampoo and conditioner. I didn’t like the smell of the body shampoo. I had to buy my own to use there. ||Water dispenser outside in the common area is available as there’s no free bottled water. ||Hair dryer is available upon request. |Ironing board is available but for 30 minutes usage only. ||Staff was fast to respond to our calls when we needed extra amenities. |When our shower heater broke, they came almost immediately to fix. ||The reception recommended a driver for a day tour for us , which was fine. |Until the time he sent us back, my friend who was sleeping behind the car dropped her necklace and glasses. |We called the driver and he said he couldn’t send it back to us because he had another client to pick up. Which was fine with us. |He said he will send it to us tomorrow when he comes to pick us up for airport transfer. We agreed on an amount on that day which my friend spoke to him on speaker phone and all of us heard the agreed amount. |The next day however, he changed to a higher amount and refused to send back our things unless we agreed on the amount. We were so annoyed. Luckily the reception helped us to talk to him and he sent it back but we refused his service. ||His service is called Ted Cebu Tours. We felt he wasn’t honest in his dealings. So please be careful if this person is recommended to you. ||I want to commend on BRYAN, the concierge who was manning the guests elevator and service downstairs. He helped us find another airport transfer service and manage Ted Tours and cancelled for us. |I told him I don’t want to be in the same car with a dishonest person like that. Or even want to have any interaction with the guy. Thank you Bryan!! ||All in all. The hotel staff...

Its location is very close to Fuente, and it's very accessible. The attending security guard at the parking area is friendly and accommodating. You will take the elevator beside the security guard since the hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor. Generally, Primeway Suites is good. (This review was for our first stay months ago)

Yesterday, we made our 2nd stay here at Primeway for just 1 night, executive room. Upon checking out, they made their normal room checking prior to confirming that we're good to go. The room service crew declared that a small towel was missing. I told them that if they need to check all our bags then we're welling to present to them our bags. There are a few guests in the lobby who we're listening to us. They keep on insisting that the small towel is missing. It's embarrassing. I told them, "I know you made your final room checking before endorsing it to the front desk, that this room is ready to accept guest. Now, where is your checklist, on what's inside in that room." Suddenly, they said, "It's now okay, Sir." I ask them why, why you suddenly said it's okay. I was asking again for their checklist to prove that the small towel is missing. The room crew just turned their backs and go. The beautiful lady at the front desk could not look straight into my eyes and just smiled.

This is a very, very bad...

Stayed in room 309 for 3 nights. The lobby/atrium and reception area has the look of a lounge with couches, coffee tables and breakfast tables for working on. So very welcoming. The room was ready when I arrived very late and with a very late booking, but the staff were able to check me in quickly. The room was a superior queen furnished with a a large double bed, an open clothes rack/shelves with hangers and safe, desk and chair, and plenty of electrical sockets around the room including 4 by the desk. There was also plenty of space to stretch one's legs. The bed was comfortable with a firm Asian style mattress. The blanket was thin, but that was fine for me as I prefer to have a higher temperature on the AC anyways. The bathroom had a walk in shower with a glass partition covering half the shower. So a bit of splash does get into the bathroom. There's a rubber mat to help with slippage. The shower had good water pressure and getting hot water was no problem. Location wise, there's plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area and about 400m from the popular Mango square area. The Osmeña Circle with even more shops is only 100m away. Overall, I had an excellent stay. The staff are helpful and polite even by the high standards of the Philippines. I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.
