Fung's has consistently provided me with superb dining experiences, solidifying its place as my go-to Chinese restaurant in Cebu. From the moment I step through the door, I know I'm in for a treat.

The star of the show at Fung's is undoubtedly the Hainanese white chicken. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it's a dish I find myself craving time and time again. Paired with fragrant rice and a flavorful dipping sauce, it's a culinary delight that never fails to impress.

But that's not all – Fung's excels in other areas of Chinese cuisine as well. Their fried rice is superb, with just the right balance of flavors and textures. The xiao long bao, with their delicate wrappers and savory fillings, are a must-try for any dumpling enthusiast.

What sets Fung's apart from other Chinese restaurants is its consistency. With each visit, I can count on the same high-quality food and prompt service. Whether I'm dining in for a quick lunch or ordering takeout for a cozy night in, Fung's never disappoints.

In addition to their excellent food and service, Fung's provides a casual and comfortable dining environment that is perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. It's a place where you can relax and indulge in delicious Chinese cuisine without breaking the bank.

In conclusion, Fung's is a superb dining destination for anyone craving authentic Chinese flavors in Cebu. With its amazing Hainanese white chicken, delicious fried rice, and consistent food quality, it's no wonder it's my go-to Chinese restaurant. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, Fung's is sure to leave you satisfied and coming...

Good Food, but Customer Service could improve a lot.

I’ve eaten here many times, and the food is usually great. when my bf and I dine here we usually get the sweet& sour chicken and their hot & sour soup.

But to my main reason why I was constrained to write this review. My recent visit in Fungs left me disappointed, mainly due to their HAKAW. the batch I was served had an unpleasant smell and tasted like the shrimp had gone bad—so much so that I found it completely inedible. I know that this was a bad batch Bec I never had this kind of smell/taste of a hakaw before here in Fungs. My friend, who also tasted it, refused to eat another one after trying a piece.

When I complained to the server, instead of addressing the issue, they called their owner/manager and the latter unbelievably gaslit us by insisting it was fresh and unapologetically said: "that’s just how hakaw is supposed to taste." That statement..along with their hakaw, unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth.

This restaurant’s location might be unassuming but once you go inside you’ll realize you’re in for a treat. We ordered a total of 5 items excluding the drink and waited for more or less than 25 minutes.

The portions were huge and great for sharing. The yang chow fried rice was a tad bit undercooked but the flavor is still there. Also i think they used newly cooked rice hence the sticky/clumpy texture. The lemon chicken was one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had. It had a good crunch and was addicting. The hakaw had a thin wrapper and the filling was dense and flavorful. The beef brisket noodle soup had a clear and delicious broth and they didn’t skimp on the beef brisket at all. The xiao long bao’s skin unfortunately pierced before we even got to pick them up so we didn’t really get to experience drinking its soup.. the taste was okay though.

We went here on a Sunday before 6pm and by that time we were the only one there. The restaurant didn’t start getting packed until an hour later so I suggest if you want a table then you could go around the same time.

Overall, this was a great experience and we plan on...

Fung’s Noodle House is hands down my favorite local Chinese restaurant and for good reason. Every dish is a hit, and I always walk out in a blissful food coma. Their Special Pancit is my ultimate comfort food. One bite instantly transports me back to the flavors of the Great Han Palace from the ’80s—nostalgic, savory, and perfectly seasoned. The Xiao Long Bao is hands-down the best in town: delicate, juicy, and bursting with flavor. And don’t even get me started on the Shanghai Lumpia: crispy, meaty, and absolutely to die for. Everything on the menu is a delight, crafted with care and served piping hot. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, you’re guaranteed a hearty and satisfying meal. If you’re craving authentic Chinese flavors that hit all the right notes, Fung’s Noodle House is the place to be.

The food was OK. Nothing really special for me - maybe I was too hyped when a colleague recommended dining here. Maybe my experience would have been better if we had the food for takeout. The place was a bit underwhelming - it was not clean, seemed like a rundown shop, tissue holders were dirty. I didn't really like how their staffs were not wearing masks - and there was one server who has been coughing non-stop, you wouldn't want that for someone who serves your food, esp during this pandemic. The price is okay, if the atmosphere was better, but I did not like my total dining experience. Maybe will skip this shop when craving for something Chinese.
