It's pretty good for Philippines. I'm from Boston area and agree that this is not NY Style pizza exactly. It's very close to what we call 'Greek style', the predominant difference being a thicker crust. In the Philippines this is a semantic argument. lol.
THE REVIEW SERVICE: Friendly staff. They seem capable. Communication issue a little bit in English, but not too bad. The staff is happy and help each other, which I like to see. CLEANLINESS: Pretty clean, new looking, and bright place. Staff are well groomed. ATMOSPHERE/COMFORT: Seating is typical of a pizza joint. It was just a little hot there except if you were directly in front of the AC floor unit FOOD QUALITY: David Portnoy would give this place probably between a 5 and 6. Its so close to being great. The appearance is superb. Its real mozzarella, plenty of it. Quality of cheese is medium, not a lot of stretch to it. The pepperoni has a correct flavor as does the sauce. It's medium greasy, which I love. For those that do not, they have napkins. My big complaint/suggestion is The pizza is under cooked and doughy, which is reflected in the flop of the slice and also the poor, unclean cut on the slices. It needs 1-2 more minutes. Both the sauce and pepperoni could have more intense flavor/spiciness, although the flavors are definitely in the right direction. I don't know if their hands are tied, since they have to cater to the Pinoy palette. My wife tried the fried chicken and said it wasn't that good. The breading was very light and not enough to even make a crunch. COST/VALUE: Their pizzas are HUGE for the Philippines. A whole pizza will feed 2 pigs, or 3 very hungry people, or 4 for an average meal. Their price is only 100-200P above the price of a much smaller one....

We ordered the 6-pc Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings and 6-pc Honey Sriracha Wings at the counter, and the cashier told us we would need to wait 15 minutes. That was understandable at first but 15 minutes turned into almost 30 minutes, and still no order. We followed up, and they said it was still on queue.
We continued to wait patiently, but even after 1 hour, our food still hadn’t been served. When we followed up again, a woman in a red shirt, who we later found out was the manager, responded in a strict tone and said, “Kindly just wait.” No apologies, no explanation.
We were shocked not only because of the long wait, but also because of the unprofessional attitude. When we finally asked for a refund, there was no clear response, and the manager blamed her crew for giving us the “15-minute” estimate. Then, suddenly, our order came out after more than an hour of waiting.
What’s worse is that the manager raised her voice at her staff in front of customers and even gave us an annoyed and disrespectful expression, without saying sorry at all. No acknowledgment of the delay, no apology for the poor service.
We are extremely disappointed not just by the long wait but by the lack of basic customer service, courtesy, and professionalism. We hope S&R management takes action and trains their staff and managers properly, especially when it comes to handling delays and treating customers...
