We've been a regular of Samgyupsalamat for 6yrs, my partner and I, specifically Mabolo branch but since it was closed due to location transfer we have decided to eat at this branch for our recent monthsary small celebration. We dined around 3-4pm so there was less customer. We were served our side dishes and there were quite a few items missing compared to what we were used to and what were the highlights of the menu, we had to order each item missing individually (sauces, egg dish, rice, water, etc.) which shows the staff their laziness and they were indeed in fact just chattering away at the sides, even giggling, unwilling to provide service to the customers, not even checking if the items were complete. Through out our dining, we had to call the server multiple times just to get their attention, and even then had to ask another server because the item we requested was maybe forgotten as they've gone back chatting at the sides. While paying the bill at the counter, we were stopped by one of the staff saying we had too much leftovers. I argued they were all pure fats and did not eat them as they posed health risks. We were then forced to go back to our table and finish off the leftovers or else we had to pay 350 (almost the same amount of a dine-in). We paid the leftover fee instead just to get out of the place as our date was ruined due to constant nagging of the staff since the amount was not the problem in the first place. We checked the receipt thereafter and saw the leftover fee was not even stated then thought it was intentional to be served large chunks of fat and then have the staff nag/pressure the customers to pay for the leftovers. Overall it was a bad experience that we...

We visited Samgyupsalamat Central Bloc for lunch as a family (2 adults and 2 kids), and while the food and service were good, the experience was let down by the restaurant’s ambiance and maintenance.
Food & Pricing: The unlimited meat and sides are priced at 599/head (minimum of 2 people), which is fairly reasonable. The meat was served almost instantly, and the grill was prepped for us, making it easy to get started. However, not all the food was fresh—the fried chicken was cold, and the rice was barely warm.
Service: The service was excellent and super quick, which is always a plus. The staff was attentive and efficient in clearing plates and ensuring we had what we needed.
Ambiance & Cleanliness: This is where the experience fell short. The restaurant was quite warm, making it uncomfortable, especially while grilling. I also feel that the exhaust system isn’t functioning well as the whole restaurant just smells of smoke.
The floors were another issue—sticky and slippery, which is both unpleasant and an accident hazard, particularly for families with kids.
Verdict: While the food and service were good, the overall dining experience could be significantly improved with better ventilation, temperature control, and regular maintenance of the floors. I’d recommend it for the food, but be prepared for some discomfort with...

Our sole purpose was to eat lots of meat and I guess it’s safe to say that they have good and quality meat for it’s price of 549 peso per head. They offer a variety of meats to choose from (seasoned and unseasoned). I was glad that they have cheese and it’s unlimited, too. We liked their Korean sauces and they also have gravy (lol). Side dishes are limited, but it did not actually matter to us because we just wanted to eat meat. For side dishes, they have kimchi, japchae, pickled radish, Doenjang-jjigae (fermented soybean paste stew), potatoes, and rice. That’s all and then lettuce.
However, if you are particular with the side dishes being ‘complete’, then I suggest you find another place.
In our experience, the staff were attentive and catered to our concerns immediately whenever we try to ask for a refill or grill change. Also, they have free iced tea and water. For 549 peso pear head, it’s a great deal.
So far, it was a good experience and we really enjoyed...
