Wingers Unlimited at Ayala Central Bloc is one of those go-to spots for big eaters who crave unlimited chicken wings, and the location itself makes it very convenient since it’s inside the mall. Entry is straightforward, you pay first before dining in, and it’s nice that they accept cashless options like GCash and bank transfers for added convenience.
The space is decent enough for groups, but when we dined it was raining, so the alfresco area was still wet, and we had to wait a bit for a table since it was peak dinner time. It also took some time for tables to be cleared and cleaned, which made waiting longer than expected. The place can get crowded and busy, so patience is a must.
The General’s Rate is now ₱449 per head, and while the price has gone up over the years, it now includes the Unlimited Crispy Boneless Chicken along with unlimited wings, rice, drinks, fries, and ice cream. It’s still a good deal, though the food quality has its ups and downs.
Chicken wing parts were big enough, served hot and fresh, and the sauces — while only four flavors were available instead of the six or seven advertised — were tasty and portioned well enough for dipping, though not fully coated on the chicken. Their sauces are one of the best in the city, which is a plus. Refill times were noticeably slow, especially during the dinner rush, and our orders were even mixed up with another table. We also weren’t served the boneless chicken until we specifically asked on our second refill, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the greasiest pieces of chicken I’ve ever had. Good thing we didn’t order too much of it.
The fries were decent but could use more seasoning or cheese powder to make them more exciting. Drink selections were good and varied, though the self-service drinks station often got messy with wet floors and sticky counters since the staff were too busy to maintain it during rush hours. For dessert, the unlimited ice cream was a plus, but only chocolate and strawberry were available, not my favorite flavors, so I didn’t really enjoy that part.
Despite the service lapses, I appreciated that everything came out hot and freshly cooked, which is always a plus for an eat-all-you-can place. Servers were clearly busy, but still attentive enough to respond when called.
Overall, Wingers Unlimited still delivers on its promise of filling, affordable unlimited chicken, though service, speed, and cleanliness could be improved to match the rising price point. It’s a fun spot for barkada nights or when you just want to eat to your heart’s content, but don’t expect a smooth or polished dining experience...
Read moreAyala, Central Bloc Branch. Regulars were prioritized too much, we've availed the barkada package with students discount. Their service was very slow, quite alarming for we've been waiting for 1 hour just to be seated, though waiting is understandable, the whole experience was the point worth questioning. Accommodation is bad, the chair is already broken but we were forced to be seated there, they failed to inform us about the extreme delay of our chicken and needed to be approached directly from the kitchen to be answered as if they didn't care unless someone approaches, we waited an hour for every serving. Only got four servings of the boneless chicken (we were 10 persons), and 2 more chicken wings for the compensation of the delay, which had a 50 min interval before the next serving was given. At this point is it actually unlimited chicken despite not experiencing it at all? Take note the 2 more was just compensation for they are unable to serve more of the boneless and wouldn't serve us more chicken wings, technically no more unlimited chicken. Was situated on the balcony (it was hot) despite there being a seat inside, I understand the reservation function but they don't have customers at that time, no reservations marking on the table, while us not being served with what we've actually gone for, was also left outside in the heat. And water was somewhat limited because it ran out. We wanted to enjoy our last bonding before summer break but got an unsatisfying experience. Money is NOT well spent. For 299 for each student wasn't worth it, we were not even satisfied with the quantity of what we've and do deserve compensation because it was our loss despite following all your mechanics. We are not demanding though, but keep in mind how bad Ayala Central Block...
Read moreThey still accommodate us even if it's past 8 PM, we thought they had a time allowance given that the mall usually closes around 9 to 10 PM. So, we pushed through, expecting that they would "wait" for us to finish. Their front desk is good, but the server, especially the lady, is horrible. She rushed us into ordering the flavors and mentioning something about 3s or 2s, which is not familiar for us because it's our first time. So, we just ordered all the flavors. Also, we ordered french fries with sour cream. It took so long to serve the food, we only had less than 30 mins. to eat and enjoy unlimited foods. They served us the cheddar/cheese flavored french fries 😭 instead of sour cream. There were flavors that were super spicy. Then, the lady server asked for our last order since they'll be closing (we only had our first order yet). So, we asked for the sour cream one and another batch of boneless wings. There's also a no leftover policy, and it's 45Php/wings (super small sized). There is no restroom in the store, as well, which is a major red flag. We didn't enjoy much knowing that there's a time constraint. It's not worth it. Php445 with that service and experience is not worth it. Will definitely not gonna visit...
