Seafoods have been one of the foods I like to dig in, and growing in an island province, it's hard-wired within me to select at least good food when it comes to seafoods.
Outside this store, you already have a view of the fresh under-the-sea bounty displayed at the entrance of the store, which kinda reminds me of the "talipapa" food places I've been way back when I was still in Manila. I strayed away from that when I got back to the province since I always prepare and cook my own.
Today, my kid, wife and I, craved for some seafoods so we got in here. We decided to only go for grilled style of cooking because we were thinking that the soups make take quite a while to cook. Now I got myself a Pompano, my kid got a Tuna Belly and my wife got a squid. We instructed the lady to have the fishes grilled and the squid done as calamares.
The place was cozy, lighting was warm, overall ambiance is welcoming and suggests comfort. The tables and chairs looked basic and simple but I don't like the idea of the table where the spaces between the wood materials were a bit broad and if your glass or saucer sits on that uneven surface, it may have the possibility to tilt or get spilled.
On the other hand, our orders came.in after 15-20 mins, standard time for serving orders. I like the presentation of the grilled tuna belly and the calamares, but the grilled Pompano could have been better. It could have been different if the Pompano was wrapped in foil so that the scales wouldn't be that burnt. But the taste of all three dishes were good, saltiness were enough, spices were adequate to compliment taste, and of course, sawsawans were readily available.
The staff are approachable and nice. And oh, if you order that barkada set (P999), that's wherr you get their crew do the sexy dance for you and your team.
Overall, I like to visit here again and try their grilled...

We ordered the shrimp butter garlic and pancit canton. It was somewhat pricey, but for what it’s worth, I think it’s good.
The 350 grams of shrimp cost around 550 pesos. They also have unlimited rice here for only 42 pesos per person.
The quality of the food is excellent. Every taste is fulfilling. The shrimp butter garlic tasted good, as did the pancit canton.
The food they serve here is very fresh, which is why the quality is so good. The prices for the seafood are based on weight, but there is no cooking fee, so you can have the food cooked just the way you want it.
The service here is also excellent; they treat their customers well. The ambiance of the place is decent.
Overall, the experience was good. I would love to come back...
Read moreThe store is not busy and there were plenty of vacant tables but they forgot our order. They took our order at 2:29 pm and they partially served our order at 2:39 pm. And we are still waiting for the rest of our order until 3:20 pm only to find out that they failed to coordinate our order to their crew. They were asking for us to wait for 5 mins, then they gave us fruits for compensation of the wasted time. 5 minutes came and still nothing happens. Food is good, atmosphere is good but the service is very disappointing to say the least since they were charging me for the service after all the rucus they caused. I can understand if the place was busy, yet it was 90% of the tables were vacant and plenty of staff were busy doing nothing. I won't be coming back...
