We had the calamari(1), chicken afritada(2), pork sisig(3) with rice and garlic rice(4)
Calamari: Excellent 9/10. I just wished they added a dipping sauce
Chicken Afritada: 9/10. It tastes like it should be very filling.
Pork Sisig: 7/10, parts of the pork are burnt which and with unpleasant to eat.
4)Garlic rice: 1/10, no point of getting it as it taste like normal rice but it’s P20 more than normal rice.
Service: Excellent. Food came fairly quick even though they were busy.
Atmosphere: 8/10. Amazing view. Better to come at sunset(around 6pm). Better come a little earlier as they get fairly busy. The only issue is that the seating and tables are cramped. They over stuffed tables in the top floor.
Also, some of the stairs are high/steep. For people who have a hard time with stairs, please be careful.
In conclusion, it is a great place to go for authentic Filipino food with stunning views (specially sunset views). However, make sure to come early to get the better seats as it gets crowded and tables...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting terrible place.
The beer is rusty, the food is nasty and me and my wife got food poisoning.
I gave this place 2 tries. I came for breakfast and the coffee did not taste like coffee. It was like warm milk with half a spoon of instant coffee in it for coloring. The view and staff were great though, so I figured I’d try again.
I’ll start with the beer having rust on the mouth piece. When I asked for a beer without rust, they told me they don’t have without rust…this place is a joke. Also, there’s only one bathroom here with no sink to wash your hands so fecal bacteria is rampant here and probably why I got sick after
I ordered a tofu veggie sisig which had zero sauce, flavor or even an egg on top. They didn’t cook the tofu, it came straight out of the package. I’ve been traveling SEA for over 5 months and this is the first time I got sick and threw up after eating here. Now I get nauseous just passing this...
Read moreThis was located exactly in front of our hotel and we had our lunch here before heading back to the airport. The tables are all the way up on the 3rd floor overlooking the sea.
We had the calamari, chicken with basil and squash, beef caldereta ang sisig. The wait for the food is a little long but we didn't mind as we are only killing tim before our airport pick up service.
The sisig was good! So far, people in Coron knows their sisig very well and that's impressive. The chicken with basil and squash has a kick in it but we loved the strong basil flavor. The beef caldereta was not a pleaser. The flavor was good but the meat can use more time to get tender. It was hard and chewy.
Lastly, try their shakes. The other table ordered banana shake and said it was good. We had mango shakes and we enjoyed it too.
Note: There's wifi but the signal is very low on...
