Wing Buff Coron — Restaurant in Coron

Great place for some freshly fried wings with creative flavours. I walked past the place a couple of times and didnt see too many people eating there which is surprising because it's good food at an appropriate price! The chicken was moist and not overcooked. I got the set of 6 wings with rice, half garlic parmesan and half honey garlic for 230 peso. Garlic parmesan was garlicky and had a sweet powdery dusting, don't think it was parmesan but it was good. Honey garlic also good, not sure if real honey was used but it tasted familiar and comforting to me. Anyways, it wouldnt be that realistic to actually include those ingredients anyways; i think it's more about the general idea.

I also got really kind vibes from the guy running the shop. I love that gloves are provided, i ended up eating the rice and wings with just a glove instead of fork and spoon which was fun. Was looking for something quick and fun and wings is always that! Was walking past and saw a family with plates of amazing smelling food.

It will not dissapoint, the wings were all good. Had 2 plates - 6 chicken wings with rice. (×2) Siracha Honey, Spicy Buffalo, Parmasean Cheese and Soy Garlic flavours. They each were coated so well it was every bite filled with flavour. The rice is tasty with a hint of garlic and saffron. The big highlight, the in house garlic dipping sauce. Get it! This was so perfectly balanced I almost screamed out for more before I realised that some decorum was needed and to not be banned so quickly from a place with food this good. Not huge on drinks with food so just used water as a pallatte cleanser between items. Each set was 230 peso....

Usually I don’t leave a review but this place definitely deserves one. They have the best and fairly priced chicken in Coron, if not the best chicken I’ve had in all of my life. Even the rice was absolutely delicious. I also always felt welcomed and appreciated by the owner and his family. Even though I initially wanted to explore a lot of restaurants in Coron, I just couldn’t help myself but eat 3 of my 4 dinners in Coron here. All I could do is give them a big tip and I even feel like that wasn’t enough. Definitely a must visit...
