My friends and i collectively had a bad week and we wanted to blow off some steam. We decided to visit Ritual. Upon arriving we were stopped by the bouncers and said that some of our friends cant enter because they were not weAring closed shoes. He said, and i quote “dili pwede and sandals”. They seemed unsure and called their manager who then told us the he would have to ask someone else. Without even talking to us she left. Feeling dismissed and for us not to ruin out night we decided to leave and transfer. Just when we were about to jump back to our car i saw a girl, already inside, wearing almost the same footwear as my friend. We circled back and asked on of the bouncers who said “KAY BAYI MAN SILA”. BTW i was with my trans friends. I called the manager again who came out but instead of talking to us talked to the bouncers again. She never gave any explanation or even apologized for what the bouncer said.

Overall, the experience was piss poor and left a very bad taste in our mouths. A manager who cant even handle a simple customer service. Its 2023, establishments like this should not have such...

Came here for the Kasadya Kick Off Party for Pride month hosted by the Dumaguete Drag Queens. Ive been here before for a Christmas party for the Physical Therapists of Dgte. I havent really ordered any food here so I actually cant comment about it, but the Grape Soda(?) I was recommended was good. So far the service is good, the people are accomodating and welcoming. The place itself is incredibly interesting to me. Its just one square block of a room with a bar at one end and a bathroom in the corner, with chairs and tables and lounges to the sides. I havent been here during actual peak clubbing/bar hours, so I cant imagine how it would be if it was actually crowded. Its minimal but also has an industrial feel.
