The Gastro Station — Restaurant in Ilocos Norte

The 3 stars is for the dismal toilet — the women’s had a defective doorknob. With a gas station and a restaurant sharing it, their doorknob standard must be very high that the ordinary ones (cost a couple of hundreds) just won’t do.

The service is below average. We (6 pax) were the only clients, but the staff had difficulty getting orders right that I had to repeat them.

The food is average. I had bibimbap which was too oily which would have been minimize with a side of plain soup.

PS They also didn’t issue a receipt. I know a business has to automatically issue one without the customer...

Wow!! Did not expect the food to be this good. In a gas station!! The salad was excellent and the soup and sisig pretty damn good too. Quite a thin menu and mostly Korean dishes so don't know why this came up when searching "local food...
