One of those hidden gems even locals didnt know about. Tho located along the main road, this cafe can easily be missed out if your looking for places to eat in megaworld district. Just 7 minutes walk from Festive Mall, this restaurant offers a small menu but not limitted to vegan.
We ordered the vietnamese spring rolls and roti platter for starters, which cost 200-250 pesos respectively. Both menu is just okay the selection of dip for roti taste authentic as well as the peanut sauce of the spring rolls. These starters are enough for 5 person. For our main, we orderd the pad thai, pesto pasta, and chicken chops. All rice meals comes in with purple rice no white rice. The pesto pasta was a little under seasoned but the sauce is generous needs a pinch of salt, pad thai was a bit dry but tastes authentic, chicken chops were good. All of these are reasonably priced from 200-250 pesos per plate. Fruit shakes are fresh and good but their daily green drink is a little bland and the serving is too little not worth the try, skip this drink. Serving is quick 10-15 minutes.
The place looks off-set from the outside since it is surrounded by residences but once you enter the premises, the place has a chill and cool vibe even the interiors. I liked that the interiors are not crowded and well curated (boho vibe) with only few tables, so i suggest you call in advance for reservation. They dont add reservation fee but it wont hurt to tip a little for the table kept for you.
This is one of the few restos in Iloilo which offer comfortable cool space with good food but reasonably affordable priced. Parking space are limited but i think they allow parallel road parking.
In conclusion, i would probably be back here soon and taste other menus and would highly recommend this place to guests and tourist esp those who were looking for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLast time I visited the cafe I sat down and caught my palm on a sharp nail in the pad. I reported it. The chairs are still there and nothing has been done to fix the issue. Also previously I went to order the Mango Banana crumble which it states is Vegan. I asked about something not related to it being vegan but was shocked to learn that it contains honey!!! I told them, but the item remains on the menu labelled as vegan!!! Today I wanted to order some dishes. The Tofu spring rolls, sold out. The vegan teriyaki wings, sold out. Due to the limited vegan options I ordered Pesto Pasta. A good example of a dish with little ingredients or imagination to the dish. Pasta, pesto and mushrooms, thatās it. There are a few dishes that lack any real appeal. They taste ok but with little ingredients. As a vegan I look for a variety of vegetables. Here I have to order them extra at my cost. This place could be a lot better if the owner wasnāt concerned more with awards than her cafe and menu. The atmosphere is spoiled at times by people on phones making calls and watching videos. The staff should sort this out but they donāt. Seems they are scared to. The atmosphere should be good for all customers not just the ones at a large table racking up...
Read moreThis was my second time dining at healthy kitchen, and once again, they did not disappoint. The café offers a diverse selection of vegan and non-vegan dishes, making it a great choice for anyone. Prices remain reasonable, which adds to the overall appeal.
The vegan food is a standout for meārich in flavor and clearly crafted with care. Itās refreshing to find a place where vegan options are given just as much attention as the non-vegan items, which are equally delicious. Their kefir and kombucha are a plus! :)
The atmosphere remains inviting, with cozy dƩcor and a relaxed vibe. The service is impressively fast, even during busy hours, and the staff is friendly and attentive.
Whether youāre looking for a vegan meal or something else, healthy kitchen delivers an enjoyable dining experience every time. Iām sure Iāll be...
