Nicolette Bakery+Cafe — Restaurant in Iloilo City

We have gone there as a family (4) several times. The food is always good but this past Sunday afternoon (7/22/24) the service was so incredibly ATROCIOUS that it ruined the entire experience and we will NEVER GO BACK . Four plates came out - o n e a t a t i m e - over a 30 minute time frame. When asked, the waiter said - "Wait a while it's cooking", or "10 more minutes". Have you ever sat eating in front of other hungry people in your party who insist you eat because it will only get cold otherwise. ITS NOT COMFORTABLE for anyone. The place was not that crowded. Did the waiter come over even once to say sorry for the delay, or here are some chips so you don't die of hunger? Of course not. They didn't even refill our water glasses. Yes the food is good but the annoyance ruins it completely.

Oh - and on the way out three of the staff were crowded around the work station behind the counter by the computer... watching and laughing at a movie on a phone.

Nicolette, either TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE OR good luck staying...

Disappointed! I ordered the regular alfredo with mushroom and chicken, and my niece ordered another pasta dish of the same size. There was a very clear difference in terms of portion size between our two dishes—she had noticeably more food than I did. Also, the bread that was served with the pasta was obviously stale. It was very chewy and difficult to even tear. My jaw hurt from trying to eat it.

I’ve been to Nicolette’s several times over the years, and I’ve never had an experience this poor. This restaurant is supposed to be a bakery, so it’s very disappointing that we were served stale bread. Combined with the inconsistent portion sizes, our recent visit was definitely memorable, but not in a good way....

Ordered their mediterranean salad. For the price of 300 i expect this restaurant to know how to do something this simple.

Greens were fresh enough. Dressing is overpowering sweet. Minced sun dried tomatoes. Servers were well trained. Speed is ok. Serving is small for price. A lot of walnuts.

Not worth it for the price. Thinking about how food like this can be priced this much: I dont know how they price their food. I think they round it up to the nearest hundreds place. They probably buy their inventory at retail prices and not at reduced prices dunno then round up galore.

Personally id try again some other food if i find sm mall to be overpopulated again on a sunday. But not...
