Zark's Burgers - SM City Iloilo — Restaurant in Iloilo City

Maybe it was an isolated case but because we had a blast the 1st time we visit,my partner and I decided to have a lunch date there at the SM City branch. The atmosphere upon arrival was ackward. Being an LGBTQ couple, we just ignored the stares because there were quite few people dining. A waiter came and then just put the menus to the table . We then looked at the menu and decided what to order. Then we tried to catch the attention of the waiter and staffs there. This time,we were ignored. It is not like the place was packed with people. Every ten minutes I tried to catch the attention of the waiter. And then a couple of customers arrived and the waiter came to them and freaking took their orders. I was embarrass and sad because we never encountered that from the other restaurants. I then angrily walked out of that restaurant after more than 40 mins of waiting and catching their attention. The photos look much nicer than the food. The service was very nice until... We got our food. There are 3 options of pasta, we ordered number 1 and 3. When we got our dishes one didnt look like what we ordered so we asked which pasta it was the waiter just said that the bacon was beef(a lie, we specifically asked because my wife doesnt eat pork) so then I had to bring a menu to our table, call another waiter and compare pictures so then he said that was not what we ordered so he took it back. The cheesy meat chilli pasta was very bland, there wasnt much taste and not spicy at all, although the pasta was well cooked. The truffle mushroom pasta tasted just weird, it was not nice. Restaurant that specializes in American style burgers made famous for its various food challenges seen online. I ordered the Jawbreaker burger and it truly is one based on its size. Even when I pressed down on it to try and take one bite, I could barely get it in my mouth and was close to dislocating my jaw! I decided not to partake in the challenge as I was on vacation and didn’t want to have indigestion and upset stomach. The burger by itself is mouthwatering, juicy and cooked well.
