Went to dine today, 27 June 2023 at 12:30pm. Since time is of the essence, I asked first how long it would take to serve and was told 15 to 20minutes. So I said go and there would be time before my hearing. Note that there are still empty tables, in other words, it was not full. Then 30minutes passed by, so I called the female waiter and asked how long it would take since I was told it would only take up to 20minutes. She said she’ll ask but never came back, all my attempts to call her back were knowingly ignored. So I called the male waiter to again ask, lo and behold, he didn’t came back too and was also ignoring me. So I went to the bar to ask why no one is coming back to answer my question. And guess what the female waiter, without even looking at me, murmured eh hindi namin masabi kung gaano katagal ma-serve. It was the third waiter, male, who immediately ask the kitchen and replied na palabas na. Could you even imagine that, took 3 people to get a reply.

Ordered the sizzling malasugi and gambas. For the serving portion we got and the taste plus texture of the fish and shrimps, and the service we experienced, definitely and absolutely not worth the money we paid.

Had they told me from the start that it would take 45minutes for a sizzling gambas and fish (which both in a normal world, cook in about 10minutes), we would not have dine there.

Ilan beses din nag brownout. Patay sindi ang ilaw.

Talk about a really bad dining experience. As in pinagsisisihan ko until now na nakahiga nako at 10:36pm na nagbayad ako ng 1,500 for lunch. Not worth your money and...

We celebrated Mother’s day in this restaurant and booked a reservation.

The foods were all okay. Masarap. Hindi tinipid. I also appreciated the complementary cupcake they gave to all the mothers dining that night.

It was a bit hot in the place, but they provided big fans when they noticed everybody we were all fanning ourselves. Kudos to them!

The only thing that I didn’t appreciate that night was when we arrived and they directed us to second floor. They said our reserved table was upstairs. The room is like a function hall specifically for occasions like wedding reception, debuts, or private birthdays. There were other people in there and it didn’t feel special… it felt like we were all randomly placed there. And it was very hot too.

So I politely asked them if we can have the vacant tables downstairs as we’d like to make the night special for my Mum. After some time they finally agreed.

But then again, foods were all good. Will...

Update Dec 2024:

Ang tabang ng kare-kare n'yo lol. Ordered last November, and another one for December pero ang consistent ng kare-kare na walang lasa lol ang labnaw na.

September Review:

Must-try filipino restaurant here in Legazpi! They have various filipino cuisine, especially classic bicolano dishes.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting (to think that I had chills because it was really cold inside, haha). It's also a perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family, good for celebrations and birthdays.

I really love their crispy kare-kare and the oven baked pork, so muuuch! 10/10. However, the bulalo wasn't hot enough, and it tasted bland. The pancit canton was flavorful. My nephew really liked it—except that he was complaining about it being spicy because of the pepper.

As for the staff, they are attentive—but they don't seem to be approachable, at least...
