Bigg's Diner | Pacific Mall Legazpi — Restaurant in Legazpi

Bigg's is a homegrown institution and came highly recommended. I found the food to be fine but I am yet to try something that I have to have here.

Baby Back Ribs (P449) 3.0 The meat was quite tender. The sauce was okay but I typically like mine to be stronger tasting. I don't typically order ribs at restaurants since they're more expensive than the rest of the menu. The ribs from Bigg's are no different.

1 pc Fried Chicken (P129) 3.0 The chicken is okay. I would say they're comparable go Jollibee or McDonald's but not noticeably better to merit going here over the other two.

Rock N' Roll Iced Tea (P79) 3.0 I don't drink iced tea so much since I'm cutting down on sugar. This is pretty tasty iced tea. You can get away with sharing a mug between two people by adding water since it's very very sweet.

Retro theme as a concept is a thumbs up. Alas, it's all downhill from there. Food is mediocre, the taste of which you can easily replicate at your own home kitchen given some basic spices (or creamer for some of their drinks). Service is a hit or miss depending on who's on shift. We once got a cheeky server with good breeding and initiative that lighted up our mood; but on another visit we also experienced a server with an attitude that messily tossed a placemat, forgot our utensils, and grunted when we pointed it out. Given how pricey the food choices are (with no drink combos) and the so-so taste, it isn't as competitive as other food joints and thus this restaurant is rarely our first choice to eat at whenever we're in town (usually just ending up here when all the other restaurants in the mall...

We went to dine in Biggs Diner - Pacific Mall. The nostalgic and one of the OG branches of Biggs Diner in Albay.

We wanted to try their new Iced Coffees and they are pretty much okay. Paired with these drinks, Inordrr my personal favourite (aside from Beef Salpicao) Tenderloin Tips. We also ordered two pieces chicken (one original and one cajun).
