Comparing this Korean resto to the others I went to... i would say this one is... meehhh.
First time that I was served with a SLAB of meat for my korean bbq. It was like me going to the market and buying LIEMPO cuts then placing it in the griller. Other Korean restos we've been to would serve you your bbq meat in nice cuts.
The Jap Chae (I hope I got the spelling right) tasted alright but I found the noodles to still be in the raw side. Also, they placed too much oil on it.
Kimbap rice was a little raw too. If the rice was cooked well, it could've been great.
Mixed sea food soup tasted good (spicy!) but I think it lacked veggies.
What I didn't like about the place too was, we were sweating like hell while eating but nobody even cared to turn on the AC! The place had 2 aircons (1 was actually beside me) but the waiters never bothered to open it! I had to stand up and keep the huge fan steadily pointing at us.
If you know Korean food, you won't come back to this place... this is my honest opinion that's what this...
Read moreOn food portion: 200grams of pork belly for their samgyeopsal, quite too smalll for the price of PhP 300. Japchae was the best. Food is quite pricey for its portion. ( the price of their shabu-shabu is ridiculously high; higher than in Dubai where I usually eat.)
On taste: I have been to a lot of Korean restaurant and theirs is Authentic Korean taste.
On service: I had to call for their waiters and waitress everytime. It seemed like they did not have proper customer service trainigs. I literally have to raise my hand every effin minutes for assistance. First with operating the grill, then had to ask them to serve the lettice then remind them for the last order. Really poor service if I must say. Also, I had to get my spoon and fork from the other table as the ones in ours was...
