As someone whose fave part of a hotel experience is the breakfast buffet, I could say their breakfast spread is a bit disappointing. It seemed that they want to cater more to international clients (wc is okay) that they forgot to include staple filipino breakfast items. There's no tapa,tocino,daing/danggit,champorado, etc. For international, i was looking for quiche, their yogurt machine is always broken. Their coffee is bad, and served warm which makes it worse. Asked them to change the first cup, got served another warm coffee again, I gave up. Its price is not far from other 5-star breakfast buffets in the country, but even Shangrila serves lamb patties in the morning. This is coming from someone who tried several breakfast buffets from mid to high end hotels in the phils. Photos below are from ala carte menu. I'd give their a la carte a 3.5 just because they don't...
Read moreAte here twice, we tried the BBQ night on friday and also the regular dinner buffet on Saturday. It was an okay experience and some items that stand out but only few. I wish that bbq night was more on an order based cooking because most of the meats were overcooked and tough and some meats were already cold. The sides were also overcooked especially the Mac and cheese. What stoodout though were the desserts for me. The regular buffet had a good enough selection but I really wished for sushi or sashimi and also some of the food were bland for me. But again the desserts were good especially the coffee Jelly and capoccino mouse plus the cakes were fluffy and soft, and also the lechon belly was really yummy. Their carbonara I do which had more bacon or meat on it and the lumpia was good because it was crispy and hot and...
Read moreBuffet dinner: My favourite of what was on offer was the crispy pork belly. Even the gravy sauce that tasty on its own. Cheese cake was also a good choice. Not sickly sweet. Most of the other dishes were good or looked good but maybe kept a bit warmer which is not easy to do if served buffet style.
Buffet breakfast: Great selection. From fresh fruits, papaya, banana, water melon. There was cheese platter, salads and a mixed selection of Pilipino, Korean dishes. Good choices to start with bread, cereals, eggs as you wanted them cooked your way. It’s a good eating experience. Eat till you get stuffed or eat the healthy way.
Staff wise they are attentive and ready to give assistance...
