One of the more popular 'for delivery' sources for Pancit Malabon and pichi-pichi around the Makati business district. Make sure to ask first if they deliver exactly to your office location though, because we ordered last week for delivery and they had us go down to the building drop-off to get our food from the delivery guy. They said they don't go up the building because the service elevator is slow! What an excuse! It's probably okay if they informed us beforehand but they didn't, and they do charge extra for deliveries so they should at least have the courtesy to inform their customers beforehand of their weird policy regarding 'service elevators.' I ordered for delivery at 10AM today, AMBER's chicken lollipop, BBQue and Pancit Malabon/Palabok which are what I normally , always order. from AMBERS since I have guests for lunch. This time , the chicken lollipops are unusually humongous , very dry , hard, and full of extenders/FLOUR and seem like at least recooked /left over ?/ at least a day OLD and simply re-heated.or another possible reason is that the chicken / meat are from the CULLED ones (egg laying hen that are killed once they get too old to lay eggs!! and usually a lot cheaper than the traditional chicken that are raised purely for its meat and not to lay eggs. . For more than a decade, Amber's has been a staple in celebrations may it be at home or in offices, and there is a good reason why - Quality AND Quantity. Seldom would a restaurant offer both and Amber's definitely delivers (Pun and Fact). The Chicken Lollipop and BBQ recipes have improved over the years and now, i frequently order both these dishes. But what really sets Amber's apart would be their Spaghetti and Pancit Malabon recipes. Everyone knows how good they are and if you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out. Also, their Pichi Pichi is sizeable compared to others and the taste if of course one of the best, if not the best. Currently they only offer take aways and deliveries but with their serving size and dish choices, it would be better to enjoy them at home or in office...
