I didn’t feel welcome at all when I walked in. The two kitchen staff came off as super unaccommodating, and it took forever before a woman finally came over to take my order. When I was ordering, it felt like I was talking to thin air—the person at the counter didn’t even seem to notice me. After I finished, they didn’t say a thing, not even to repeat my order. They just turned and headed straight to the kitchen. When my food showed up, it was the same deal—no words, nothing. They just dropped it off and left. The dine-in setup was odd too—everything came in take-out containers, except for the rice, which was on a paper plate. There wasn’t any service water either, and I felt too awkward to ask. It seemed like I’d be interrupting them while they were glued to their phones, doomscrolling away. It was hot in there, but they didn’t even offer to turn on the electric fan. Before I could even dig in, I heard all this clatter from the kitchen—like they were tossing utensils around or just being careless. It totally killed the vibe and drained any excitement I had about eating. I’ve ordered from this place a bunch through Food Panda and always liked it, but after trying to dine in, I’m rethinking that. I don’t see myself ordering again unless they step up their service. Hopefully, they actually read these reviews and take customer...
Read moreThe food is great, especially for its price! We went as a two-top and ordered paneer, masala, hummus and beef keema, with four pitas, and one rose lassi. The food was so good we ordered two more pairs of pita, for a grand total of 612PHP for a full hearty meal for two. So worth it! The staff were very polite, conversational and helpful when needed. I appreciate that there was an open sink accesible right outside for handwashing considering we ordered pita bread and eating that can be messy especially for someone like me who hasn't eaten these types of food often yet. I love that we were allowed to vape right outside the shop (we were the only ones dining in at the time at 8:30PM on a Saturday).
The interior is modest and homet, nothing fancy but it's cozy and reminiscent of small local food places in Palanan and Bangkal area, which was very nostalgic for me. Plenty of chairs and tables to go around too!
So nice to find a restaurant near my workplace that sells good Indian and Arabian food for an affordable cost. Will definitely order again...
Read moreFood: Potato Samosas - Frozen in the middle, hot on the outside
Beef Biryani - Portions are big for the only two biryanis in their menu, however for the beef biryani i ordered, the meat was tough when I got it, it was hard to chew on and a bit cold in the center.
Chicken Biryani - No problem for me, tasted good, just a little dry for my taste.
Paneer masala - Best one I ordered taste-wise, however it was served in a very small portion, which i think isnt proportionate to the price indicated
Service: Bad experience from the cashier, very rude and unaccommodating (Chubby, dark skinned, wearing glasses)
Food was served on paper plates and plastic containers, we felt like we were eating at a typical pinoy birthday party
Atmosphere: A local cockroach visited our table and asked for some food. Kidding aside, place was generally clean, but the place is open to the outside due to the windows, so expect uninvited multi legged invaders...
