We’ve been loyal customers of this branch for over three years. Their crepes have always been our go-to dessert, and on July 13, 2025, at 9:40 PM, we even drove to this branch specifically to enjoy our favorites: La Pinay, La Délice, Le Magnifique, and Original Sin. We’ve always enjoyed the food and have recommended this place to others.

Unfortunately, this visit was deeply upsetting.

While chatting and waiting for our food, my Tita, on her last bite, discovered a hair embedded in her crepe. It wasn’t just any hair it appeared to be a pubic hair, which was extremely shocking and completely unacceptable.

We immediately called the manager, who offered a brief apology. After expressing our disappointment, she simply walked away without offering any resolution. We called her again to ask what actions would be taken, as this was clearly a very unsanitary incident. She said she would review the kitchen CCTV to investigate what might have happened.

Instead of taking full responsibility, she responded, “Buhok lang po ’yun, hinawakan ko po para i-check, malambot po ’yung buhok.” Regardless of the type of hair, any foreign object in food is unacceptable.

She added that she would report the incident to management, then asked a staff member to get a complaint form for us. Again, she left without any further follow-up or assurance.

To make matters worse, when my partner went to use the comfort room, she was devastated to find the toilet unflushed and filled with human waste. This only made the experience more disturbing and raised serious concerns about the establishment’s overall cleanliness.

We didn’t bring the restroom issue up to the manager anymore because, at that point, we were already too disappointed and distracted and my Tita was visibly distressed after almost consuming the hair.

What should have been a comforting and enjoyable meal turned into a truly disappointing and unsanitary experience. After more than three years of dining here, we are now seriously reconsidering if we’ll ever return. We hope the management takes this matter seriously not just for us, but for the health and safety of...

Cafe Breton is one of those rare restaurants that have perfected what they do. Their food never changed ever since I was in gradeschool (I'm now almost 30), and I swear -- it's a good thing. Everything always tastes fresh and quality and consistent. Literally takes you out of the Philippines and into another country. It specifically reminds me of Australia more than Europe to be honest, but maybe because European food is typically bland and CB's is not. It's flavorful and interesting, and thoughtful. Some dishes have names from European folklore (e.g. Excalibur) and culture and it's visually and tastefully curated. Definitely a must try for anyone looking to travel to Europe through...

Service was completely haphazard, with different wait staff directing different customers to the same table.

There was a lack of coordination between orders, serve, clear and payments, with multiple customers waiting more than 20 minutes for their (asking for it multiple times), then ultimately leaving the table with the EFTPOS machine still on the table - because the staff walked away and were doing other things…

Orders were very slow and were delivered NOT as ordered!

The food was ok and to expectations. The outdoor setting was very pleasant on a Friday afternoon.

But the service just ruined the experience! Coordinate your staff and make sure only one person is assigned to...

Cafe Breton is practically an institution at this point, where you can be sure to get a pleasant dining experience whatever you order. We had the dessert crepes, ice cream, and coffee, which were all excellent. We decided to come here after a mediocre dinner at a highly-rated place in BGC. Coming here saved the day for us, and the sad dinner experience was easily replaced by the great desserts we had. Highly recommended.

All manner of crepes, both savory and sweet, here at Breton. My favorite is actually the chorizo burger with egg, but the Don Quixote stuffed with spicy chorizo is pretty good. Dessert was the Funtastyk, always fun to order as they pour the Grand Marnier aflame over bananas topped with Nutella. Service was good, food served quickly, bathrooms clean. A solid choice along Magallanes Village.
