Cafe Adriatico is a charming little cafe tucked away along the quiet residential streets of Malate. While small and unassuming from the outside, the cafe has a warm and inviting interior that makes you feel right at home the moment you step inside.

The coffee and food are the real stars here. The baristas take their coffee seriously, offering a variety of specialty coffee drinks made with beans from local roasters. I had their flat white made with beans from their neighbor, Juan Valdez Coffee, and it was the perfect balance of smooth and bold. They also serve tea, Italian sodas, and smoothies for those who prefer something non-caffeinated.

For food, the menu focuses on classic Italian-inspired cafe fare with paninis, croissant sandwiches, and salads. I had the caprese panini which was packed with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil and served hot and crispy on grilled sourdough bread. There are also homemade cakes and pastries that make for a tempting sweet treat. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and drink you get.

The cozy indoor seating gives Cafe Adriatico a relaxed, European cafe ambiance that makes it a nice spot to linger over a cup of coffee or meal. Outdoor tables are also available for those who want to take in the neighborhood sights while they enjoy their coffee. Service is attentive yet unintrusive, allowing you to set the right pace for your visit.

Overall, Cafe Adriatico is a hidden gem that delivers high-quality coffee, food and ambiance in a comfortable and welcoming setting. It's a great place to stop for a quick caffeine and pastry fix, or linger over leisurely meals with friends. I would highly recommend checking it out the next time you're...

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in their Spaghetti ala Carbonara, Prawns in Garlic, and Solefish Provencale, and I must say, they were absolutely phenomenal.

The Spaghetti ala Carbonara was a true masterpiece. The creamy carbonara sauce was rich and velvety, generously coated every strand of pasta.

The Prawns in Garlic were a true delight for seafood lovers. The prawns were fresh and succulent, cooked to perfection. The garlic-infused butter sauce was heavenly, with just the right amount of garlic flavor that didn't overpower the delicate taste of the prawns.

Lastly, the Solefish Provencale was a revelation. The fillet was flawlessly cooked, moist and tender. The Provencale sauce, a combination of tomatoes, herbs, and olives, was a burst of vibrant flavors that complemented the fish beautifully. The dish was served with a side of perfectly roasted vegetables, adding a lovely touch of freshness and color to the plate.

Overall, my experience at Cafe Adriatico was nothing short of exceptional. The Spaghetti ala Carbonara, Prawns in Garlic, and Solefish Provencale were all outstanding in their own right. The restaurant showcased its culinary prowess through these phenomenal dishes, leaving me with a lasting impression of their commitment to quality and taste. If you're looking for a dining experience that will truly satisfy your taste buds, Cafe Adriatico is the...

We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions here!

What we ordered: ✅ Farmer's Breakfast (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) – A delicious balance of sweet and sour flavors from the pork and egg, perfectly paired with garlic fried rice. ✅ Landlord's Breakfast (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) – The smoky, flavorful sirloin, textured sausage, and well-cooked scrambled egg all come together beautifully with garlic fried rice. The rice itself is decent but feels a bit average compared to the high-quality main components. The fresh, sweet mango adds a refreshing touch to the meal!

Each dish comes with a complimentary black coffee + milk and a glass of cold water—such a great bonus!

The staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, explaining the menu in detail and even advising us not to order extra drinks since we already got free ones.

Though the space isn't too large, it's still cozy. We were lucky to get a seat by the window, offering a great view of Adriatico Street, adding to the authentic Manila experience.

Highly recommended if you're visiting the Philippines and will spend some...

Old but still gold is how I would describe this place. As soon as you enter, you will immediately notice the dark ambiance, old furniture and old decorations. I ordered Farmer's breakfast complete with tocino, eggs, rice, coffee and turon as dessert. I'm glad to say that they have maintained both the quality and taste since the last time I ate here 4 years ago. The tocino was perfectly charred and sweet. It's glazed which I prefer over the saucy type other restaurants offer. Sadly the portion was far from the picture on the menu. The turon or banana fritters was good but not Savemore good. By the way, the parking slots are very limited in front of the building and there is a 50 peso fee that goes to the city.
