Kuya J Restaurant — Restaurant in Manila

We had our dinner at this restaurant earlier estimated time that we arrived in kuya j sm manila was 6:20 but they served our food 7:25 pm what kind of service was that???!! The restaurant was not yet busy at that time until the the two groups of people that came after us were served first maybe they dont priorize who came first! Aside from it i ask the training crew about the status of our order but she never approched me back. So i ask another crew this time i ask the regular employee the woman in the counter regarding in the status or update on our order she said that she will check it but i’ve waited again more and more minutes! They dont even apologize sincerly about the delayed. And atlast our food arrived!!after an hour!! I was thinking that finally this is it the moment that i been waiting for hhhhhuuuuu!!eating time!! But sadly stress never ends they did not served our food complete we still wait and update and update for the whole chicken😡😡😡😡. Then the chicken was being serve! Surprisingly there are parts of the chicken our still in flesh😭😭😡😡😡 so we called again the crew and tell him to please recooked the chicken😠😤 this was the worst traumatic stressful experienced in kuya j restaurant i will not dine in this branch services was not good food was not good everything was not good!!!!!!!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 this experienced...

We dine in in Kuya J Restaurant SM Manila last Jan 28, 2023 and they serve our food almost 30mins after we order. Food is not good. Sinigang is very sour and the meat in Caldereta is hard to eat. Sinigang is my favorite but don't like it to be that sour.

Customers from another table got furious as they also waited too long for their food to be served. They opted to take out the meal but after a minute, their food was served. The other one who ordered Halo Halo just wanted to cancel the order but they immediately gave it to him after he mention that.

When we are getting our bill, they just gave us a piece of paper wherein it is written down the price we need to pay. As I wait for the official receipt, they took 10 mins to give. They mentioned that their PC restarted. When I got the receipt, there are items which I am not aware that we ordered it nor received it. When I asked, those were their freebies items for our meal but unfortunately not available in their kitchen.

We ordered snack here for dine in. We ordered Spaghetti and it was well cooked. Ill give it a 5. Pasta is al dente, sauce is creamy sweet. Its perfect. While the pasta was perfect the Halo Halo Special I usually ordered in this store only got 1 because I feel like there was something wrong with it. Texture is bad, taste feels like the unusual masarap na halo halo that they boast. Medyo lasa off, parang Panis. I was tempted to call the manager but we were in a hurry. I asked the staff though if it was really that way because I know how it taste because I order that whenever in Kuya J.

Service took too long, and when asking to follow up, they told me they are just finishing the online orders, and I didnt know how to respond after hearing the answer.

Store ambiance is good. Also there are items in the menu that is not available so Ill suggest that they put Not Available...
