We recently celebrated our friend’s gender reveal at Starbucks SM Manila, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and unforgettable moments—all thanks to the incredible team who made it truly special.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine excitement. The staff didn’t just assist us—they celebrated with us. A huge shoutout to One Sacedon, Kelvin Galang, Aila Riconcorya, Vince Ramos, Carlisle Ramos, Jet Cristobal, and Rhenny Manabat—you were all absolutely amazing. Your energy, kindness, and attention to detail went above and beyond what we expected.

You made us feel at home, and your joy in being part of our celebration was so heartfelt. Everything ran smoothly, and the cozy atmosphere of the store made the occasion even more meaningful. It wasn’t just another day—it became a memory we’ll cherish forever.

Starbucks SM Manila has been my go-to spot since my college days, especially when I needed a place to review for exams or unwind between classes. Over the years, I’ve noticed significant improvements, particularly with the recent renovation, which has elevated the ambiance. Despite the consistent crowd, the staff impressively manages fast and smooth service, ensuring minimal waiting time for drinks.

However, due to the high foot traffic, tables aren’t always cleaned promptly, which can be inconvenient for incoming customers.

Another downside I encountered recently was the lack of notification about planner stock availability. Since this is the peak season for sticker collection, it would be helpful if the staff posted a notice at the counter to inform customers immediately. This would save us the trouble of visiting multiple branches to claim our planners. Ensuring sufficient stock during this period would also improve the customer experience.

That said, Starbucks Philippines remains my favorite. I’ve had the chance to compare it with Starbucks in Canada, and I find the variety of pastries and drinks here to be much better.

AMBIENCE It's tight as always in there but they DO have sockets under those tables; not on the floor but on the surface underneath. We found those very convenient and amusingly discreet.

TRIPLE MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO I tried to make this as light as possible: soy milk and no whipped cream, but it turns out that whip was a major part of the recipe. It's placed at the bottom and top. I was advised it would become a plain Mocha so I kept the cream at the bottom. :) And, well, it still tasted like a plain...
