We just got home from work and we decided to eat first since it's 7 AM and my partner and I are hungry.
We decided to eat here and when I saw the price while outside as we are parking our motorcycle, Inoticed that the pricey is a bit too much.
1 rice with egg and almost half a body of Bangus, (unsure what size of the fish) but it appears to me, like it's the small bangus. The price is 180, and the big meal, same viand, but it has atleast 2 half of body of the bangus, and the price is at 250.
So if my partner and I decided, to choose that we would've spent exactly 500 for just those meals which is totally not worth it. I would understand if the regular meal is at 90 and the big meal is maybe around 180. But 250? for a rice, egg, and half of body of the fish, no heads or tails, it's too much.
And when we got in, I had a difficult time choosing although the choices are good because, I used to be so excited to try new places to eat. But in this case, this is the first time that I did not went nuts or didn't feel any excitement at all.
And actually, since we have no cash we thought maybe we could do gcash. However, for some reason the app is not working, but Ijust bought load for my partner and I just yesterday and there is no problem with the signals.
After multiple attempts, it went through. But when the food came, it is cold. And if I am being honest, it feels like I am eating leftovers. The rice, the ulam, even the water. Everything seemed to be leftovers that were served today, since it was all dry and cold, not exactly the warm meal that I am expecting to have in such a good diner exterior.
I guess we are already given by signs, but we didn't realized it sooner. The drinks are too much too, so it literally felt like our money is an absolute waste.
Will not attempt to try this diner again. Sorry, but just want to provide...
Read moreReview. Dated July 4 2022 Finally after 2 COVID years this branch is somewhat near normal with them again serving their standard meals but at a more expensive price. There are diners and most of the time the glass doors are kept open to help in the ventilation. This is my go to place for sinigang na baboy and for menudo. I pair that menudo with their fried rice. I am sure their tapsilogs still taste the same. The dishes are limited and my continued disappointment with the place is their use of plastic spoons and forks. I have a hard time using them on the pork cuts. The place is currently open from 7 am to 10 in...
Read morethe best tapsilog for me. i had first tried their tapsilog, tapa-sinangag-itlog when their branch inside UP campus was still open. before the pandemic i have been eating back here twice since it was near our home. the Tapa was really worth the experience. they also serve other dishes mostly filipino cuisine. if you happen to went near their resto try it also. a word of advice, lunch time was really full and hard to find a table. come earlier to save a spot!! @-@i think open na sila to full capacity. or still...
