Last time I came it was about a decade ago and I was a little disappointed with this visit. Staff were generally great but the food on offer gave less value than a lot of other restaurants for the price range. I'm allergic to seafood but the rest of my group did try out those dishes. I was told that the small crabs were less than fresh. The sauces they tried were overly salty. For me the cheeses had been out too long. There were clear allergen foods that didn't have their own tongs so I had to get my own utensils from the table to pick the food I wanted as the tongs I were to use had clearly been used for fish dishes. "Newly" delivered food were either lukewarm or cold even though they were out under heat lamps. The roast beef had been slightly roasted then put on a griddle to really cook, so I wouldn't call it roast beef. Lots of chicken in the carvery looked dried out. No steamed vegetable options like broccoli like I had on my last visit. The drinks options were limited, even moreso for sugar-free versions. The sodas were either root beer and one other option that was so unmemorable I cannot recollect. No coke or pepsi options with sugar-free alternatives. The sports drinks option seemed out of place and never refilled while I was there. There were cans of beer. A San Miguel tap that I didn't see get used. Honestly the sodas are probably the cheapest thing to have available which fill people up but the lack of options was just far below expectations. Sorry but I expect better...
