The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf — Restaurant in Olongapo

Lovely Friendly Staff who just Need some Food to sell! I LOVE CBTL (the franchise, the menu).. this one in Olongapo.. the staff are so nice, it is not crowded like Starbucks that is just opposite.

The food is prepared fresh on the premises.. however this branch of CBTL are normally run Out-of-Food!

I go there almost every day because it is quiet to work, and I like fresh food. The staff know me, every day they have hardly any food I like available. Normally only about 2 or 3 items on about a 10-item menu. I tell them 'I will write a review on you if you don't start stocking enough food'. Today I have had enough... 'sorry no Melon Mint drink Available sirr... sorry no Chef Tuna either' .......again? really ?!?) So I am eating at rowdy Starbucks writing this review.

I guess the person who orders the food is very worried that some day there may be some left-over that they didn't sell. But anyone who studied business should know that a few leftovers is a very small price to pay for the amount of sales they are losing for being understocked. I personally have left for Starbucks on around 10 occasions because of the lack of food-stock.

I also really like that they always have 3 different today's newspapers available.

I say to the owner... let your manager stock more food and watch your business grow busy like your close...

We visited The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf recently and really enjoyed our time there. The atmosphere is welcoming, well lit and big windows to look out at the people passing by and the water feature and plants just outside the front entrance. We were welcomed firstly by the upbeat music playlist and then by the friendly staff. My husband tried the mochachip coffee ice blend which was really nice and not as sweet as other coffee ice blends he has tried. I had a cafe latte, the coffee was mild and smooth and really enjoyable. I appreciated the alternative milk options available. This review is more of a personal comparison between the Coffee Bean & Tea Leave and Starbucks. I like this place in Harbour Point Mall. For my personal taste I prefer the food and snacks in C.B&T.L to those on offer at Starbucks directly opposite. The coffee is equally as good as can be found in any decent coffee shop. For me the number one reason why the Coffee Bean and Tea Leave is my number one choice of coffee shop..... the ambiance. If I have a spare 30 or 40 minutes I feel Incan relax more here.
