Kuya Restaurant — Restaurant in Panglao

The place itself is good. Side dishes are generous, especially sizzling pork, lettuce are clean, but … the service is bad (had to find a waitress around 3 time during our meal), all tables got service water - we are not, undercooked dry old rice (we asked to replace and after awhile they brought the same batch) and in a third time they brought overcooked rice which is still better than previous 2 bowls. For my own taste all side dishes have a lot of sugar. Anyway the place had a line of customers waiting for a table, maybe management needs to improve their service and quality of food...

Most generous restaurant owner ever!! We’ve tried almost every Korean BBQ restaurants on this island , and I think Kuya can be ranked as the best !! High quality of pork belly in a huge portion, fresh lettuce ! All the side dishes are great and authentic Korean flavor, good service, very attentive staffs and very well-trained …Everything perfect! Nice Korean restaurant. This visit they were a little of a victim of their own success that the staff to customers ratio meant we had to ask for service a few times. But on quieter days it'd be a really great place. Still loved the visit and we've been a couple of times and will go again, but our experience will be better if it wasn't so busy of course. Not their fault of course, and busyness shows that it's a great place to consider having dinner at....
