Manta Dream Resort — Hotel in Panglao

We had a very nice stay at Manta. Hotel has a security guard, rooms are same as on pictures, cleaned on demand. Bathrooms already a little bit used (rusted faucets, broken toilet seat etc.), but in general the quality of the accommodation is very good. And the employees are the nicest people we ever met.

Manta is located a little bit far from the center of Alona, but thanks to that the area is calm and peaceful. On the other hand you can hear in the room basically everything from the outside (dogs barking, people walking, airplanes starting). The AC is also very loud.

There is a nearby bar serving breakfasts and dinners.

There was one thing though that forces me to lower the overall score. They burn trash behind the fence, everyday. Considering the high temperature and humidity it basically means breathing the scent of burned plastic. Smoke is literally visible, as hangs in the air due to the weather conditions. I understand it's normal in Panglao, but unfortunately not something...

The hotel is far from the busiest area of Panglao (only 5 min walk and 1 min by motorcycle), however this is appreciated because it is always full of tourists.|The pool is super clean, and on days when it is cloudy or when Alona beach is very crowded (it usually is), having a pool area and sun loungers is appreciated.|The guy at the reception has the best tips about the area and is constantly aware if you need help of any kind.|The rooms are new and it shows. The beds and pillows are comfortable.||As a negative point I would say that they don't clean the room during the stay unless you ask them to (and they do it without any problem) but for stays longer than two days, it would be nice if they did it regularly.|The breakfast (which was included) seemed a bit limited (Filipino style).||I would stay there again, especially because the staff is super friendly and the hotel is very good...

Awesome Oasis resort just a stones throw from the action. Perfect for singles, couples or families who want to be near the action and beach but want to be able to escape to peace and quiet within 5 minutes walk. This is an outstanding resort just a few minutes walk from the town centre and beach (this is by far my preferred way to live in Panglao). You can access the beach and dive shops in 2 minutes by bike, or 5 mins walk, as well as the restaurants and shops. The restaurant at the resort has an outstanding quality of food (be sure you like garlic!). The hosts and staff are all outstanding, well trained and extremely helpful. I must highly recommend this resort as my favourite place I've stayed in Panglao, perfect!
