I had literally the worst massage of my life here the other night

I walked in at 8 and they told me they could do an hour Thai back massage at 8:35. They asked if I was ok with a male masseuse and I said sure -- they were busy. At 8:50 I was shown a room, and left there for 15 minutes. Then when the man entered he started to massage my feet. He seemed surprised when I said I had paid for a back massage.

He then proceeded to give me the WORST back massage. Strange tiny repetitive movements that didn't feel therapeutic or relaxing. No Thai stretching or anything, just the same few movements on my back. At some point I asked for more pressure and then he beat me up, but still was using these weird tiny movements and for some reason kept pressing really hard on my bones?? He did the same thing for 50 minutes, then stood on my back and called it a day. I left more sore than I came in and steaming with anger. Avoid this place honestly, there are other...

Foot massage OK, but the booth was like being in a hospital booth. Noise from the building work (not the establishments fault), but also the floor style means people moving to and fro is loud, as are creaky doors. Totally within their control was also the admittance of a small child. He should not have been allowed in (surely the parents could been creative enough to find a solution whereby they both get a massage but the child didn't have to be inside with them 🧐). The fussing child, mother chattering away/trying to hush him, and noisily eating snacks lent nothing to the atmosphere. Eventually I asked that he be removed, but didn't make for a relaxing...

Amazing experience. The price is quite reasonable, walked in without a reservation and was accommodated swiftly. I get regular massages and tried many a spas but what ultimately matters is the therapist - and the one I was assigned here did not disappoint. Therapist Jasunlee (I might be misspelling her name) was marvellous with her technique and maintained the strong pressure that I requested.
