We had the 2 bedroom appartements A and B.||||++ staff is very friendly||||+ overall the hotel is in a good shape||||++ the food in the hotel restaurant is good and cheaper or at a comparable price to Alona Beach restaurants, but you probably can fin cheaper eateries, if you try.||||+ no buffet breakfast, but there 6 different types of breakfast that you can customize to your liking||||+ the rooms are clean||||+ massages in the hotel(600PHP) are good and cheaper than Alona beach(800-1500PHP).||If there are no curtains hanging, ask for them in advance or they will not hang them and you get no privacy when massaging.||||--- the wifi placement is bad at best... 4/5 on the balconny, 2/5 in the living room, 1/5 or nothing in the bedrooms. I expect 4/5 everywhere for the price tag!||||- Internet speed is OKish(sitting next to their router). 25Mbit down /1MBit up. Bu it's very unstable and laggy. I just could not play a MOBA without major lags and interruptions. Even tried at 4am and was still bad... They have PLDT as provider. I dont know what otions they have, but they need to pimp um their game here... this is unaccceptable for the price they are asking...||||-- The bathroom is aweful. No shower gelly, no toilet brush or water jet, the faucets are rusted, mold everywhere, toilet seat is disgusting, the shower door handle is loose.||What annoys me the most is that the bathroom is in good condition overall, just fix everything mentioned above and it is a good bathroom... just noone bothered to do it...||||- No free transfer to Alona beach and back.||Charges are 150PHP for a tricycle(1-3person, if overweight only 2, otherwhise you won't fit) or 250PHP for the Van(12 max) one way... for a 5 minute drive...||||- Also no free airport transfer...||||=yes there is a construction 2 meters behind our appartement, no it was not bothering us much and I am a light sleeper.||||= the landing planes fly by pretty close, but there arent that many per day, so it was not bothering us at all.||||- The sign on the wall says 3 star hotel, but in the Inetnet it was...
Read moreLinaw Pearl, a restaurant with view Linaw’s restaurant, I’ve been here a couple of times two years ago and thought it was time to catch up again with good food and the amazing view you get for free here.
A variety of dishes They have wide variety of everything to choose from. European, Asian and Filipino dishes with every kinds of meat and even crocodile for the brave ones. They have also a small selection of vegetarian dishes. When I get this kind of menu in front of me I tend to have a hard time to choose among all the delicacies. The menus down below is just a sample of what they offer.
Decision agony After some decision agony I decided to go for Tuna Sashimi and Tuna Provençal. Yes I like tuna. But to my disappointment they were out of tuna. That’s ok. But then again I had to go through the decision process but after some reading back and forth I finally opted for prawns with creamy tomato sauce. Instead of an appetizer which I thought of first I chose a dessert instead, Supreme Crepes. That would make my tastebuds very happy!
Conclusion Linaw Pearl Restaurant is a part of Linaw Beach Resort which probably is a nice resort to stay at. I never stayed there though. The location of the restaurant is beautiful. To have your dinner there is like to have the front seat for an amazing sunset. The food was delicious and service excellent. Everything from the CR to the surroundings was nice and clean. One note about the surroundings though. Just very close behind the Linaw Beach Resort is currently a construction site where a new hotel is coming. It will be a large and high building which will not melt in in the beautiful environment like the Linaw Beach Resort do. Development is good but over exploitation is not. Just saying.

Instead, I found a man (who I was afraid would be angry) outside waiting for me saying "We have to talk" ||I never feel so scared and threatened in my entire life! In the room, there was no phone to call reception and no network coverage to call help. Being on the 1st floor I couldn't run away. So I lock my door and started calling for help through the balcony. ||Luckily my brother, which was in a room close to mine hear me and came to my aid. ||I can't find the words to explain how scared I was and how unbelievably unacceptable is for the reception to give out a guest room number and allow a stranger to just walk to my room. Especially when the guest is a woman alone.||The hotel is not as good as it comes across in the pictures and the profile. Not worth the price, nor the title of Resort. much below expectations. ||When there is a low tie, there is no beach at all to swim in. and no...
